We have been using the app for several months now, and we're happy with the results. We can provide our customers a bigger discount than simply offering a traditional discount code. Customer support has been very helpful thus far.
The app does not work at all, I followed the instructions, but the cash back line item does not show in the shopping cart.
Terrible support as well, they just linked me to their help center without even reading my questions, and the wait time to get responses to my emails was really long.
1 Star because I atleast saw a little of what the app does. To sum up my review: For $159, terrible customer support wait times and if you're a growing business, even with over 600+ orders your first year and anticipating nearly triple your next year - they not going to give you any support.
Sadly, all the reviews of people being on boarded and getting help setting up a/b test - no way. I was given a self-serve option.
Apparently, you have to meet a certain requirement for them to help you. I have no confidence this app works because I had to read through articles to set it up. Upon thinking I "set it up" the app doesn't even show on my website. I activated it and even turned on the on-site widget, pulled out m phone, no widget.
Customer service takes at least 3days to reply to you. Why are we paying $159 for terrible service and you cannot even aid in helping users use your app? There are apps that cost way less and even free ones that give their soul into customer satisfaction and helping everyone get their apps setup, but these guys are just money hungry. I mean seriously, after waiting 3 days to get help - included in my email response about being self served, they wanted me to pay for there Postscript app. And funny enough, 24hours later they tried following up to ask if I'm interested in paying for their other app.
It's been several days, I'm still waiting on 3 email replies but I'm giving up because you cant run business with people who aren't there to help. It would be a different scenario if you wait 3 days and you actually receive help but I bet their reply to me on my next few emails will not be helpful.
Fondue, please don't reply to my review with something talking about you helped me the best you can because you didn't. If you want $159/mth from clients - act like they are worth $159000/mth. The sad truth is that when one of you reached out, you had the nerve to tell your colleague that you already set up a demo with me.
I really wish my interactions were with the person who sounded sincere contacting me after the first rep I spoke with although she took 4 days to respond but sadly, I got the one who chose not to help me set this app up and just wanted me to pay for another one of their apps
We've been using Fondue now for a couple of months and we've completely replaced our discounting strategy with their rebates because of the effectiveness. We've seen higher conversion on our sign ups, higher AOV, higher repurchase rate, MUCH lower return rate, and all while not having to worry about discount codes making their way to coupon sites. A+ overall, highly recommend.

Fondue is a great alternative to codes and coupons. We're getting more full price orders with an AOV increase of 12%, plus we doubled our popup welcome series opt-in rate. We've started using fondue outside of the welcome series and are seeing early signs of success. Start with an AB test in the welcome flow and go from there. That's what we did and the data was clear that Fondue is a much better way to discount.
