so confusing and complicated to get conversion tracking from google ads to work with shopify, honestly ridiculous. even after going through all the steps, still does not work.

We are upgrading our conversion and tracking to the new Web Pixel methods, but there are no interruptions in service while we change over to the new process. If you see "Web Pixel disconnected" in the Customer Events settings, it simply means we have not migrated your store yet. As long as you have Conversion Tracking on in the channel app settings tab, you should see your conversion tags operating properly. If you don't, please contact us through the Google and YouTube App > upper right Get Support to reach out app specialists directly.
This is a wonderful app it is well made. I like it so much that I can connect with all of my clients.

Regarding Google Analytics: despite saying connected, no data reflected in google analytics.
Solution: manually install the tag for data to reflect on Google Analytics dashboard.

The app with shopify is awesome and I was facing some issues to update the changes directly in my merchant account but from this app it gave me so easyiness to update google required informations.
Stays disconnected from Shopify's customer events no matter what. Shopify support claim they can't do anything about it and neither can Google
Hello! Thanks for your feedback. The pixel feature is not yet live, though we expect to start rolling it out soon. Unfortunately this may be confusing since the setting does display as disconnected right now, but it should not be affecting the functionality in any way -- simply by using this app, you should see your data flow through as expected, even through the new checkout experience. Once the feature goes live, you'll see this option become connected!
If you're having any issues, please add to your existing support case with the discrepancies you are seeing, but rest assured this pixel setting is coming soon!
