Negative 5 stars. This failed app is causing us thousands in loss sales. Did not want to update due to the reviews, but Shopify forces the upgrade. A month later fail to publish products stating invalid GTIN. They were valid before the update. Several reinstall and several re-syncs and still fail. Makes no sense why the older app is not an option when they are implemented differently.
None of my products are approved, even though I've set them as custom and edited google shopping fields. Still no luck, I only have 52 products, so can't understand why it's so difficult uploading them to google shopping

I am having the same experience noted by another reviewer of Shopify's "Google Shopping" app on Aug 26, 2019. He wrote: "I installed it recently and I launched a campaign which is automated of course. However, after the products were approved and the campaign started running there was no information on the admin panel about the amount of ad spend."
He then went on to explain he used another app to find out that he was indeed being charged for ads!
Using this app, I started an automated campaign 2 days ago and got a message on the admin panel that the ad was approved and active. No more information after that. I sent a message 5 hours ago asking for help through the Shopify "support" button on the Google Shopify app page 5 hrs ago and no reply yet.
I can't recommend this app given that I may be spending money but have no idea if I am or how much! I'm going to give Shopify 24 hrs to respond and if it's not fixed, cancel my ad and try a different approach to advertising on Google. This is unfortunate because the Shopify Academy course on using Google for E-Commerce was very helpful for general information. Unfortunately the poor performance of the Shopify Google Shopping app means I'll need to implement Google ads in another way.

To help out, I just wanted to confirm where the ad spend total will appear in your Shopify admin. You will be able to view all the details of your campaign under Marketing>the Specific Campaign>View Report.

It was great in the first few days, but then all of our five thousands products got disapproved from enhanced listing and google do not give us a particular reason. We cannot find the solution from the articles provided. Many products were moved into pending without a reason. There is no useful support at all.

The app simply doesn't work at all. Incorrect data and wrong shipping information. The products stay pending for days and never get processed. Complete garbage.

Pretty terrible. Bad UI, complicated where it shouldn't be(the interface, getting around, setting things up) and not complex enough where it should be ( sale settings, options, product management)
Superb app, As the small businesses we can improve our sales by this app. Actually, I most like it if there more chances to promote our products at low cost or free.

As for the cost of the Smart Shopping campaign that you set up through this app, you actually have the option to edit your Daily Budget within your campaign at any time! I used the application to connect with my Google channel but it doesn't send correctly the product feed to google merchant center when my products have variants, it appears error in all my products "Product availability needs to match your product landing page." and I can't create ads.
I have invested many hours in reviewing the products without being able to publish them.
I'm sorry but it doesn't work for me.
