Disapointed :( :( All setup info and tips are made for the previous version of this app which also seemed more user friendly and up-to-date than this hagwash.. Seems like a scrappy beta version at best with very limited controls etc. etc. I see im not the only one with this issue... Hope you guys will read your reviews and fix asap (hint you are losing money from lost transactions fee's aswell).
This is enough to make me decide if I will even keep Shopify, I have to start everything over thanks to this App. Products are not even showing on Google Shopping.
App very bad. When you use this app. My account suspended anywhen! you can experience but i recommend you not to use this app by google!

Google Merchant and Google Ads suspended. And i don't know why. All the work thrown in the trash. Beware that perhaps the problem could be the App
My google account always log out after some time so all product become unavailable on the google channel. Great channel for us to sell but the app have some serious issues. I would like some help here if possible.

Updated after Nidhi’s response: anyone with a most basic understanding of google shopping ads and merchant center would know that the suggestion to “customize your campaign any further than this, this can be done directly from your Google Ad's account.” is completely inaccurate when trying to address the issue that has been raised. Yet again, Shopify support just keep spouting their “we’d love to help” stock responses while in reality having no clue about these bugs and errors and having no other suggestions than pay for an app or “it’s not us”.

Don't use this app if you want to sell internationally and you ship to countries other than your own. Apparently, it is not possible for an international platform like Shopify to create a simple integration and add in additional country codes. If you use your feed through Google Merchant Center and you want to create ads (shopping or otherwise) using your product data, you can't because Shopify didn't think of that. Completely useless.

The Google Shopping app lets you target the country your Shopify store's currency is set to, and if you wish to customize your campaign any further than this, this can be done directly from your Google Ad's account.

if I could give this new Google Shopping Channel no stars in a rating I would. Do NOT...I repeat...DO NOT use the Google Shopping Channel.
The feed is a huge problem. Does not sync well with Google.
Does not have the ability to send over both the MPN and GTIN numbers.
Multiple problems with data matching between Google and Shopify leading to almost our entire store (8000+) products being disapproved. It took 2 weeks for Google to recrawl the products after we spent hours "fixing" our products. We still have not regained our positions in Google Shopping.
You do not have an option to set up your shipping in Google. The feed pushes over the shipping tables created in Shopify. If you have multiple zones or tables set up in Shopify, the feed sends over all of the tables and Google gets confused. It then selects the highest possible shipping rate for your product to display in your shopping product display. I spent hours setting up zones and rates in Google, removing the API shipping feed only to have all of my work erased and replaced with the information from the feed that next time it generated.
This is a prime case of a company pushing out a new "solution" before testing it properly. They are now unable to make the fixes to make it work.

Bis ende Dezember hat es wunderbar funktioniert. Dann wurde mein Merchant Konto gesperrt, wegen Falsch Darstellung. Wenn man dann auf Diagnose der einzelnen Produkte geht Sperrung: "Drogen Alkohol Darstellung". Ich verkaufe Uhren! Es gibt etliche Shops die, die gleichen Produkte anbieten. Ich habe schon zich Logos hoch geladen, alle samt abgelehnt. Muss ich einen Grafik designer beauftragen? Ganz ehrlich so langsam nehm ich das Persönlich. Selbst ander Aps probiert. 15.000 Artikel abgelehnt? Wenn 20 % gesperrt werden ok, aber die ganzen 100 %. Ich habe alles Probiert einzelnen Artikel Probeweise geändert mit dem was in der Diagnose steht, kurz danach gesperrt. Hier hat man als kleiner Gewerbetreibene keine Chance.
pointless app, only works for USD when the old version used to work for any currency
Terrible App! It is difficult to use, has little to no information on how to use it and when you install the app and create Google Merchant account and Ad account they are then a sub account to Shopify. You CANNOT close them!!
You are better off creating the Google accounts on your own, then you can control them!
Stay away or suffer the frustrations and consequences!
