Infinitely better than Zendesk. Gorgias' automation is far more intelligent and truly allows you to cover all communication, turning your CS efforts into a real revenue-generating channel. Being able to report on revenue is a big one for CS too. Team are amazing. Thanks Lucas, Billy, Richard and Mustafa!
Gorgias team was very helpful whenever some issue came up. They would respond and provide for solution within 24hr without failure!

Let me start by saying I wish I found this APP long time ago, it is by far the best and most reliable APP for customer service and tickets. We are getting 100-300 tickets per day and needed a solution that can work flawlessly with Shopify and here it is. On top of that the team behind the APP are amazing and very helpful and really make the whole experience amazing... I highly recommend this APP 5 Stars all the way.
Many brands, despite the customer-facing perception of them, really function as small start-ups. In this respect, customer service amongst the various avenues of digital communication that exist today is often handled by a single person. Gorgias has streamlined this role and stripped it of unnecessary burdens and complications in creating a singular platform through which all communication can be customized. Furthermore, by integrating it with Shopify, any customer contact has with it the entire order history, allowing for personalized communication in an instant.
Great app with great functionality, the only downside being the aesthetic of the interface. But that is somewhat negligible when considering its utility.
Gorgias is great to help streamline our customers service needs. I am a bit of a novice so still getting the hang of it but their support team is always available via chat or for a call to help with any questions I may have
Takes a little time setting up to suit your needs but that's only a testament to its power and flexibility. Plus, their CS during this difficult time has been very understanding. Just be aware that you will need to pay extra for ChannelReply if you want to use it for eBay contacts.

I was using Zendesk for my needs in terms of customer comms and providing support through a small team.
Zendesk proved to be overly complex and beyond my needs resulting in many confusing scenarios both for customers and staff
Gorgias seems to be just right - easy to use - easy for my staff to pick up on and links nicely to shopify orders.
I have decided to use an external chat function but I am sure for many small businesses the built in chat would prove highly valuable to a totally in house solution.
