we migrated from a paid livechat to save funds. so far it works for what we need, primarily a B2B busienss. The addition of the unified inbox assists greatly so that one person can manage the inboxes for all stores. It would be great if there was an automatic assignemnt feature so that only one perosn got notifications rather than all the users. the assigned user could then assign it to another if necessary.
I think this option is pretty useful for my customers. You can just go in and write a quick question in the chat. In a few months of using it, I haven't found any problems.

It's been easy to chat with people interested in the store directly through the chat function on the website. It gives a little notification when there is a new message, which helps me keep on top of things when people are looking for help.
Love it. Great way to communicate with customers from you smart phone!
I love using Shopify. It makes it easy to run a successful business. I only wish there was a better Customer Service option to speak with a real person when issues arrise.

this apps allows direct communication with the customer at the point they are considering or about to pay for goods. to be able to chat to them directly increases conversion of sales and leaves the customer more satisfied and has a positive result towards the brand
