This allows me to help customers in real time and keep people from leaving the site because they have a question about our products. It also allows me to see themes and better work my website to help make information more clear for my customers.

I wish shopify inbox could be on the same page as my admin page and it wouldn't take me to another window

Pros: great integration with shopify. Customer info at finger tips. Cons: It needs more features: Provide email support, so that we can use the same tool for chat and email support. Provide levels of instant responses, so that we can have more of them available in a categorized way, allow customers to easily upload attachments. Better options styling and layout options to help avoid overlapping with cart page buttons.

It blocks the whole page and does not let the visitor exit. If they reload the page, it loads back up. This is a horrible experience.

Hey there, thanks for taking the time to write a review. When you open the chat by selecting the icon on the online store - you can also select the application icon once again to close the chat. With that being said, the application should still allow you to still select items on the online store. If you are experiencing issues with the application blocking the page, I would suggest reaching out to our live support to have a further look into your online store and application: https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA.

This application is bare bones and desperately needs more interaction options such as requiring a phone number and/or spam detection.

So far, I am really loving this application. It is so nice to see my messages in one place! I also find it convenient that I can see when I have messages whenever I log into Shopify.

I love this app. It's great that I can chat using the app and my customers receive messages as texts once they are offline. I would give this 5 stars if I could change the prompts. "Check order status" is not relevant to my customers and confuses them. Pls change the coding to allow shop owners to add different conversation starters.

like the way that all messages are held in one place, much easier to handle. Very slick indeed. Also good for customers to message us.

Thank you for your feedback. At the moment there is no way to remove that banner in Shopify Chat.

Since Shopify Chat is a live chat feature, and we know our merchants are often busy and cannot get to visitor conversations immediately at all times, we wanted to provide a way for visitors to leave some information so that you the merchant can continue the conversation at your convenience and potentially capture that sale.

Your feedback however is really valuable to us. I'm going to reach out to you personally over email to get your thoughts on how we can improve this feature moving forward. :)
