Live Preview Options is a great app to add various customization fields to your Shopify products. You can add swatches, dropdown menus, buttons, text inputs, upload fields and much more. In addition, you can generate a live preview of the product as the user customizes it. Do price increases depending on the selection and even Conditional Logic to show/hide the options depending on the customer's selection. The app has no limits! As many fields as you want and as many products as you want!

I originally posted a 5-star review here, and I think if you are looking for something relatively simple, are using one of the free Shopify templates, and need an affordable app for live previews, this still gets 5 stars.
But. After a year of use and a recent site refresh, I had to find something else. This app ended up costing me more time, energy and money than it should’ve - but you know what? That’s on me. I had to find a bunch of work arounds to get it to do what I want, and hired a developer - twice - to deal with issues. Customer service is responsive; but nothing is ever the app’s fault. The most recent issue was my last straw. After days going in circles with the developers and getting the same reply I took the leap to something new.
It's a solid app with high quality customer service. You'll need to spend some time setting it up and aligning the images to overlay perfectly. But the app really works nicely. Great customer service via e-mail.
