Loox is a platform that has outgrown my needs
I’ve been a Loox user for many years, and during that time I’ve watched the platform steadily become more expensive while its core value has narrowed. The focus has shifted toward adding secondary features, while the simple, elegant review experience that originally made Loox great has become increasingly constrained by pricing tiers.
What I need as a store owner is straightforward: a clean, reliable review app that makes it easy and rewarding for customers to leave honest reviews and photos. That authenticity directly improves trust and conversions, and it’s the primary reason I use a review platform at all.
Loox still does this well, but the monthly review limits seriously undermine the value. Being capped at 300 reviews per month across all plans makes it feel like you’re constantly being nudged to upgrade, even when your needs haven’t changed. At this point, unless cost truly doesn’t matter, I can’t recommend Loox as a first choice anymore.
Other review apps have caught up over the years, and it’s refreshing to finally have viable alternatives. I hope the increased competition pushes Loox to revisit its pricing structure. The feature sets per plan are solid, but the review limits are the real problem. Removing them entirely and adjusting entry-level pricing would be a much more honest and compelling approach.
Used this app to get product reviews along with pictures (landscape and portrait). Love the fact that the app smartly arranges them based on type of image or video. Easy to use and plenty of other functionality, a little pricey but great for shops that need a customized branding and aesthetic.
Edit (Nov. 2nd 2025) - Their customer service doesn't seem to care that some basic features like your hard earned reviews don't integrate well with Google Ads/ shopping. After turning on the feature for a month, had to reach to their CS who casually suggested some updates and said now need to wait for another 4 weeks. Maybe they could've asked to do this from the beginning?

I was really excited to move from another app as Loox seemed to have everything I need for my store which relies heavily on reviews to generate sales. The previous review app posted all of our reviews to our FB business page. Loox DOES NOT even though they claim they syndicate reviews to Meta.
Given that, we will need to find a differently platform for our reviews and referrals.

Loox offers an integration that syncs your reviews with Meta, allowing you to showcase your reviews on your Facebook and Instagram shops. Plus, you can easily share your reviews on social media directly from your Loox dashboard.

Almost the reviews app I needed. Here's what's missing:
- You can't customize the font-family or font-size. You have to settle with a Google Font, not the one used on your website. This will make the widget look like it's a separate service.
- You can't send multi-lingual email except in the languages they support (around 15). If you need another one, tough luck.
- You can't customize the color of the font used. The font will be black regardless of the color you use on your website. Again, this makes the widget look like it doesn't belong there.

Widgets are glitchy; I find myself having to deactivate and reinstall a widget so the settings can reset. For example, deselecting 'show thumbnail' on the pop up widget doesn't work, or making small updates to other widgets. I found it annoying that you can't make email marketing a requirement to receive the discount with the onsite referral widget. The customer service is strange; I was wondering if I was speaking to bots. They completely misunderstand my question or ignore it altogether. I installed Klaviyo and cannot find that Loox integrates with them. I emailed Loox and they ignored that question and went on to a different one. I appreciate how modern the widgets are and how easy to use the app is, including customization features. But when I compare it to judge.me, I can't help but feel like I'm paying significantly more just for something "prettier."

The app is very good but a little expensive tho
The app is fairly good and reasonably customizable. They haven't however replied to my emailed 'help request' for over 5 days. Not great service.

I would give their product reviews 5 stars, but because it doesn't work for seller ratings as well I have to give it only 3 stars. It works really easy for us and the customer, and having images with the reviews is awesome. Not having the ability to go backwards to get past reviews is a miss as well.

Generally speaking, Loox supports sending review request emails to your customers who purchased before Loox was installed going back up to 90 days, free of charge!
That way you can jumpstart your store's social proof with reviews from previous happy customers, and increase conversion rates!
In addition, if you have any reviews you previously collected, we also support importing those reviews using our CSV spreadsheet template.
In regards to seller ratings, Loox currently supports product reviews alone in order to concentrate our efforts on increasing conversion rates on the product pages and creating strong social proof that will convince customers to buy your products.
With that being said, we're constantly looking for new ways to improve our product and we take our users feedback and requests into deep consideration!

It has multiple functions. However, there are some disadvantages. The layout cannot be changed or placed in a row. Each review can only put one picture.
