Migrato ‑ Store Migration App

There are 4 ways to move your orders over from another store to Shopify, I vigorously tried all 4 over a 48 hour period, CSV transfer options were what I thought I was going to use however the data still needed to be adjusted before I could upload and it was so time consuming. The C2C option had no reviews and I could not find good content from real users online to verify it so I finally tried Migration Pro.

The migration process is so EASY and you can demo it to see what it looks like too! It is not 100% perfect, my orders did not have every single detail in them once transferred but it was the easiest out of the 4 BY FAR !!! It is not super cheap but also not that expensive so I was happy with the end result especially because I finally found an EASY solution!

Top tip though, make sure any email welcome flows are turned off whether they be Shopify Flow or a third party email marketing platform. Just to be sure no customers get notifications in the process. I also made sure double checked with them that no new charges would process and they assured me they would not, great communication in the chat which I loved too - thanks guys.

Overall a good experience - the team worked really hard to get my info migrated. Shopify's editing capabilities made it a bit hard to format the images once they were migrated, but we sorted it out. I made a few concrete suggestions of ways that Migration Pro can improve its interface, as some of the initial stages can be confusing to understand. But overall they helped me get this done so I can move forward - and it's definitely saved some time on my end as a business owner.

It would be even better if Shopify had this feature/technology built-in, rather than an app. I'd encourage them to join forces so that an outside app would no longer be needed ;)
