We had high hopes for this app, but the 'Mystery Discount' feature is fundamentally broken. The app 'locks in' a promo code on a user’s first visit (which support confirmed), yet if the user refreshes the page, the popup displays a completely different discount percentage. This creates a massive trust issue with customers who think they are getting one deal only to have another applied at checkout.
Beyond the technical glitches, the app is not ready for international brands; there are no translation options for multilingual sites.
Avoid this if you value consistency and customer trust.
We’ve been using this app for the past 2 months, and the automatic mystery gift added to the cart has made a real difference. It has contributed to a significant increase in our sales.
Great app for running mystery discounts and free gift offers. Setup was quick and the reveal mechanic makes promotions much more engaging than standard discount codes.
