the app was fine and we used it for maybe a year. But then we wanted to pause it andtehn accidentally paid for a whole year. Even though we have been long time partners they did not care at all.
They know we just paid more than 800 dolalrs for something we couldnt use at the time and they refused to pay us back. This is the first time i have ever experiences someone so money hungry, because we had a very good relationship before that. Now they just wanted to take as much money as possible and not care about customer relation.
We were looking forward to working with them in the future but now not so much.
Stay away from this company, they are not honest human beings.

I originally left a positive review and still appreciate that this is a Hungarian team based in Hungary. The product itself has some strong elements.
However, after using it longer, I discovered that bot and crawler scripts are counted as “impressions.” With the current increase in bots, this makes the impression metric essentially meaningless on Shopify, which materially affects how performance is evaluated and how quickly users are charged.
I can no longer use this product as a result. Sadly Shopify nor Optimonk have a good solution to the advances in AI.
Unfortunately, no practical solution or adjustment has been offered to address this issue, which is disappointing and not quite fair given how important accurate attribution is today.
That said, their pop-ups do appear to outperform Klaviyo in terms of engagement and conversion behavior, which is worth noting.

I am using Optimonk for 1 pop-up on my website and paying $99/month for it. Last month Optimonk deleted my one and only pop-up out of the blue due to an error on their side. This resulted in a significant headache and loss of sales for my business (the pop-up is functionally very important to our user journey). Use at your own risk.
Even though Optimonk's error led to a significant loss of sales for my business they wouldn't even comp my next month of Optimonk app charges. Poor.

I installed their app in hopes of setting up a wheel only to find that it is so limited, hard to use, hard to set up. support wasn't any help. going to look for an alternative pop up wheel app instead. Spare yourself and don't try theirs. Some part of their lucky wheel I can even call stupid and useless like, they added a "no luck today" on their template but it required a coupon code and when you actually test the wheel and got to "no luck today" you'll be greeted with a "congratulations" with a coupon code. just stupid.

The "non-winning" slices are included to enhance anticipation, but we ensure every spin results in a win to keep visitors engaged. The non-winning slices have a 0% weighting factor for this reason.
This approach helps maintain interest and prevents users from losing motivation :)

Dont waste time. This app show all the previews broken. Unorganized. Making impossible to view how it supose to work on your page. Fonts uncenter on the space of the button, the image is display in another location.. just sucks.

Actually this app doesn't work at all. As in will NOT show up on my site, even after signing up and paying for this. I would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else.
