A fantastic app I have used on two Shopify sites now. I just needed some help as it had been a while since I added more options, and Mitali couldn't have been more helpful - even added my colours for me!

First of all I'd like to say that I have never submitted a review before to any company, although I read many reviews to make an informed choice .

So the fact that I'm actually writing this review for Hulk Product Options is because I feel very strongly about letting other people know how good they are.

As a small business owner I have always been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of apps available in the app store.
Knowing where to start, who to trust and the amount of time that it takes up, just hoping that you might get a satisfactory app that will work.

Initially I started using Hulk Apps Discounts in 2022 , it was recommended by a friend. The help I received from HA setting up the app was immediate, and second to none.
As such I have used their Discounts app continuously and will continue to do so, as it works so efficiently.

Recently I introduced a new section to our website and I wanted an app that would offer different options and variations of the same product.
I naturally looked to Product Options by HA as it provided just what I needed. I also wanted to try if possible to stay within the same family of apps, so I would limit any conflicting apps.

The app works straight away and is logical. However in my case, I'm not very clever with doing setups. So I turned to the HA customer support.
Their tech support is absolutely brilliant! First through their chat and then email for a more detailed enquiry, and then a phone call was arranged to talk me through all the settings.

I would particularly like to thank Sanjaysinh in tech support, who has helped me set up Product Options. He replies immediately to questions and then will set up a meeting if required. He also explains things very clearly and is brilliant with his technical support knowledge.

I think it's so important that a company like Hulk Apps takes the time to invest in small businesses.
They are obviously very forward thinking and in my opinion, way above the rest. It's very important because it is finding an app company you can trust
and that recognises that not every online business has a high spending power, or understands how to set up apps to make them work efficiently.

As such, Hulk Apps for us has been amazing and provides a partner to move forward with. As funds allow, I will start to use other apps they provide and I will stay with them for their unwavering help, dedicated personal support and forward thinking for small businesses.

They are clearly aware that many businesses that run on the Shopify platform are small and they are prepared to invest their time and customer support. As such these businesses will grow and stay with HA for the long term.
I would definitely recommend Hulk Apps and in this case Product Options

The 5 stars are especially for customer service. It's phenomenal. You can chat with someone immediately and if they don't have an answer, they will get back to you by email the next day. I needed some customizing done to the app and they did it for me as well as helped me trouble shoot.

This app offers an impressive level of flexibility and customization, perfect for my complicated product options which the standard shopify options weren't able to handle. It's super intuitive and easy to use, even if you have little to no technical experience like me!

The support team has been absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly helpful during the initial setup and responded immediately whenever I had questions. They even assisted with more advanced customizations, going above and beyond to make sure everything worked exactly how I wanted.

This app has solved so many issues with the buying experience on my website. It’s made the ordering process much easier for customers and has given the site a more polished, professional feel. Highly recommended!

The customer support is phenomenal. They had a lot of patience with our special request and created a custom calculator for our customers which is not only very easy to use in the front end but communicates the orders to the back end very clearly.

so easy to work with this app and the chat feature makes it even easier when I couldn't figure something out!

The app does what it needs to by adding options. BUT,(and it's a big but) there are several basic shopify features that are disabled when using Hulk.

1) Your addons no longer show up on SHOP or alternate merchant stores like Google or Tiktok. Since it's no longer a variant in Shopify, it's not recognized as an option.
2. You lose the ability to use auto discounts. Auto discounts will glitch the price so customers can check out without the addon prices.
3. Lastly (that i've found so far, 2 days in) You also lose the ability to have quick pay methods in your cart area. This is enabled on checkout or the product pages only.

The bugs cause a reading refresh issue that allows customers to checkout without having to pay for the addon.

The support is very responsive and I feel they are top notch. They were able to help me understand the limitations of their app, which seems to affect others addon apps and not just theirs.

When I first started I wanted it to look like it was seemless with the rest of my website, it doesn't seem like the settings had button shape options to be able to match the style of my shop. They did offer to have a programmer fix it, but I was able to fix it myself via CSS.
