We sell relatively high priced ticket items. With an average sale of over $400, we have been amazed at how many of our customers take advantage of this app on our Shopify store. It works flawlessly and with their admin terminal feature we can see all of the details as to what happened on every order. This app has done more for our business than any of the apps we have installed. You need to try it. PS - If you happen to be one of our competitors, it's awful - don't try it!

There aren't a lot of apps I would come back three times for, but Lay-Buys has been a favorite of ours for a long time now (see below). Our customers love it, it increases our average order size, and it costs us NOTHING, ever. I can't recommend any app more, so I've come back to let readers know that we've been using it since 2016 and find it crucial to our success and growth. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by installing this one for your customers! Edited 1/25/18: We've been using this app for 18 months now, and it has increased both our sales and our cart size very noticeably. We currently have over 24 orders on the Lay Buys program, which shows how much customers appreciate it! Many of these orders are from repeat customers who were very happy using it the first time and have come back for more collectibles, using it again to help budget those larger purchases. I see a couple reviews stating that the app slows down page load, but it does not slow down loading on our site, so perhaps they're mistaken about the cause of their slow load? We've had no issue with the app's operation, and it remains one of our most valuable add-ons to our Shopify site in terms of increased revenue. We've contacted Lay Buys support a few times with questions or to request tweaks to the app and Warrin always responds promptly with the help or feature we've requested. Truly, we couldn't be happier! And all this comes at zero cost to us, and very little cost to the customer? It's a huge win all around! Original review was in 2016:
I waited to write this review until we saw a completed transaction using it. Our first use was a $900+ purchase, and it went smoothly for both the customer and for us. We both received notifications every step of the way, and she received a notice a couple days in advance of the monthly payment date so she knew when it would be coming out. That's perfect. When the final payment was made, she got a thank-you, and we got notice that the order was completed and can now be fulfilled. With no charge to the merchant (how refreshing!) and a minimal charge to the customer - less than one percent, this app has jumped up my favorite list quickly! Eleda Towle

It's not perfect, but it has far fewer limitations that it's big commercial counterparts, and is way easier to get help with.

I absolutely love this app! Many of my customers use it regularly, and I love that there is no minimum or maximum dollar limits. It integrates very well with my shop, and I have made many sales that would not have been possible otherwise without it. I have a lot of big ticket items, and lay buy has allowed people to achieve their dreams without financial strain or a ding on their credit. Support is easily contacted and very helpful, they have never left me hanging. I would not want to be without Lay Buy in my shop, and I really enjoy having a steady monthly income from several accounts that are active at once. There are a few minor issues here and there, but as I said, support is fantastic and easily accessible. This is one of the best kept secrets in the app store I have ever seen. I have recommended it to other shops who also love it, but have never heard of it. Thank you for providing this wonderful service.

This app allows my customers to secure items that have sold out elsewhere while not having to store them until they are ready to use them. It also allows them to pay off their purchases over time. Customisable preferences, easy to install and use.

This app is seriously much more than anyone can imagine or has reviewed yet. We worked with Warrin to implement this app on our website as we wanted a more traditional Lay-Buy service. Our price points are a bit higher and our customers were asking for something like this for some time. We created an entire program around this app, with a landing page, T&C page, pop-up, and an entire marketing campaign. On day 1, without even marketing yet, our brand had its highest daily sales ever. If you read through some of the other reviews on here, I must speculate that any possible complaint about this app must be attributed to the merchant not understanding what this app can do, or did not have the ability to properly implement it. Support is top level and this app is excellent.

I have installed this app as my customers were needing other options to pay and not wanting to miss out on sales promotions available. very pleased with ease of instilation for a techno illiterate like me. responses from happy customers after an hour installed.

I have contacted the shop now three times for help uploading this on my store, I have not received one answer, so would I recommend this app definitely not, support is the biggest key in any business which have had none here.
