I had been using QuickBooks Sole Proprietor and needed to switch to standard QB to handle sales tax. This made the process super simple to import my records from Shopify and Kumar is assisting with bringing over all my historic data from my store. Super responsive support, easy to follow setup instructions, and over-all perfect solution. 5 stars all the way!
Hi, I have written 3 emails about this problem but never received a reply. Orders are currently not going through to QB, error states record already exists yet there are no details of the customer or the order in QB.
I needed an app that could transfer all of my sales data into Quickbooks Online easily making it easy to manage my books.
I have yet to actually test this app in the field, so I can only hope that the initial settings I selected to set up this app works correctly. Set up was pretty straight forward, but there were a few settings I wasn't exactly sure about, such as holding accounts and such. They provided instructions, so I just kind of followed what they did in the instructions so hopefully that works.
However, I did have an issue with my products syncing into Quickbooks and I reached out to support. They were fast in helping and resolved the issue right away.
I thought that non-inventory products were synced as part of the subscription but it was an extra $1 a month for this feature. Not a big deal, and also very reasonable. Pricing wise, I feel like this app is priced very well and provides a lot of different subscription plans for all types of businesses. It's not too expensive for a small business like me and that's exactly one of the reasons why I chose them as a lot of the other apps are just insanely expensive just to transfer data from point A to B.
Best among the lower-priced QBO sync apps we've tried. We get some issues with orders that have been modified (items removed, refunds, etc.) but overall works well for most of our orders. Would recommend!
I signed up to use The Quickbooks Bridge APP to work with Quickbooks Online and my Shopify account and due to the complexity of Canadian sales taxes, I wanted to be sure that all taxes were properly set-up. I inquired with their customer service and reply was a copy of what I could already read on the site. When asking more specific questions, I didn't get anywhere. I really wanted to use it, but getting specific answers while setting up the APP correctly is critical, when tax calculations are automated in Quickbooks. They declined to talk on the phone and my problem is not yet resolved. I will start looking elsewhere for an APP that understands the complexity of taxes.
Excellent, flexible support. They were very helpful, when I had a problem. I needed to only import certain transactions. Many Thanks
We use this app with QB Desktop (Premier, Manufacturer's edition). At $40 per month, it is the best available app for the money. All other apps were in the $250/month neighborhood. Overall, QB Bridge saves time by importing all your orders as sales receipts and/or invoices (user's choice at configuration set up). It can create customer records for those orders, or put all your Shopify orders under one dummy customer. You can map products in Shopify to QB by either SKU or Product Name. If a product doesn't match exactly, the app creates a new non-inventory part item in QB. (You can report on this and manually correct it in QB). According to Support, you can map an item in Shopify to a subitem in QB by following the syntax Parent:Subitem, but we have not yet been able to confirm that functionality. We installed and configured the app easily. Upon our initial sync we had difficulties. The app appeared to stall. We connected with Support via email then by telephone and shared desktop and they worked with us for over an hour until we were up and running. They were courteous, attentive, and helpful. In our initial trial, we found that about 10% of the orders had sync errors and failed to import. We notified Support, but it has been about 2 business days and we have not received a reply on those sync failures. There's an option to resync failed orders. We tried that with one order, but it still failed to sync and after retrying, the problematic order disappeared from the app's list of unsynced/error orders even though it was still unsynced. Manually recreating 10% of your orders in QB can be time-consuming for large customers. For small customers, it's probably not that big of a deal. We gave the app 4 out of 5 stars because it provides good, time-saving functionality at a very reasonable price. We deducted the 1 star for the hiccups and the fact that we would have liked an acknowledgement/response from Support by now on the 10% sync failures.
This app has been great so far. Kumar was super quick in getting back to me and quickly resolved my issue. Highly recommend this app to help integrate your sales from Shopify into QB.
Used and for some reason my site went down at the same time and decreased in speed. There are also hidden cost of that. I deleted very quickly.
Dear Sir,
Our app is a Zero footprint app which means that our app does not interfere with the front-end of your site and hence our app cannot affect the speed. There seems to be some confusion with any other app that you might have installed at the same time.
We have tried to reach out to you on email as well as phone. Please give us one more opportunity to serve you.
Thanks,
Kumar
Hidding the real price of the app which is between $10 and $30 more than what it shows here considering you pay $30 this app to just transfert your data to the real website which also charge you the same price.
I had to speak to the support for like 1 hour cause he kept avoiding my questions about the real price of the app if you want everything to be working.
Try to be (more) honnest
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for trying our app. We tried to reach you both by phone and email but were not able to reach you. We will be happy to assist you with this issue that you are facing.
The issue that you were facing was because QuickBooks did not find a valid company to connect to. The screenshots that you had sent to our support team were all from QuickBooks. When you click on Connect to QuickBooks button, the control is then with QuickBooks for Authorization to your account.
In the first screenshot (https://prnt.sc/qt1w3m) QuickBooks is asking you to create a company because it did not find one with your email account.
In the second screenshot(https://prnt.sc/qt1zxw), you can see that QuickBooks is asking you to select a type of account for the new company.
In the third screenshot(https://prnt.sc/qt1yiv), QuickBooks is asking you to enter the credit card details. All these 3 screenshots are outside the control of the app. You can see the intuit.com (QuickBooks' parent company) in the URL.
Our app only charges through Shopify and never asks you to enter the credit card details anywhere.
If you already have an account with QuickBooks, it might be that the QuickBooks account is with a different email other than the one that you tried to connect our app with.
We will be more than willing to assist you with resolving with this issue if you give us an opportunity.
Thank you. Regards,
Kumar
