I use this app to help print barcodes for my clothing labels. I would really like more sizing/layout options for the labels - I'm always having to play with the sizing and make adjustments until I can get them to print just right.
The key is to select the right label size, in the App settings, AND the printer settings (in the drop down menu). If those are right, the App works great!!
This is a very clunky and buggy app. The previous app was much better. None of my employees can figure out how to use this. Resulting in lots of label waste. The many steps are one of the problems and there's obviously some print driver (do they even exist anymore) issues. It's made barcoding very frustrating and inefficient.

The app works well but I wish there was a feature to add additional size barcodes. I have a small label that I need to use on some products and this app will not allow me to do that.

So you get barcodes, but sadly, they don't work for Google or Amazon...so only for shopify. Wish it was different.
Thank you for this feedback. Retail Barcode Labels creates 8-digit product barcodes that can be scanned and used in retail locations. Whereas the UPC codes required by Google and Amazon operate slightly differently. To learn more about how these codes are used on Google, please check out this document: https://bit.ly/3oVwf4c. It's great. You can change the order of the data so it can show the price bigger. I would give it five star if it would print directly instead of open another page. My clients are compleining since the euro sign shows before the price and too close. They see € 4,95 instead of €94,95 and i should be 94,95 €
This is my first experience with a POS system and the Shopify app for the DYMO barcode labeler is so easy to use. I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet.

We are trying to use this app for labels in our retail shop. We purchased avery labels as the app states it can print on avery, however, there is no 1x1 square template. We now have 5000 labels and no way to print on them as well as unmarked products. Shopify told us to contact the developed for a solution and they told us they were not adding that template at this time.

While I can confirm that Avery labels are supported, our guide (https://bit.ly/3zG8um4) does indicate that only their standard label size (2.63" x 1") is supported at the moment. Nevertheless, we can see how supporting more label sizes (for Avery) can be beneficial for our merchants, like yourself, and we'd be happy to pass this suggestion along to our developers for future considerations. App usually works perfectly, however, today we're missing the specific product page that we are trying to print labels for.
It seems to be a glitch that won't allow us to print as it stays in a constant state of creating new barcodes.
