This app went rogue and replaced all the barcodes on-site with 8 digit codes. What little support I received just said there were plenty of warnings that action was going to take place...not so. Now Google Shopping sees all barcodes as invalid. Not happy I gave 1 star because there is no -1 option.

Is this April Fools joke!! I need to apply barcodes and this new app is screwed up!! what was wrong with the old app!

This app literally wasted hundred hours of my work life by simply generating random barcodes for all my existing SKUs. I tried contacting Shopify to see if I can undo the changes and get back my original barcodes but unfortunately it didn't work. am so disappointed. Regret installing this app!
Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I am sorry to hear that you experienced this issue with the Retail Barcode Labels app. I can appreciate that your barcodes being overwritten was a significant headache and I am sorry to hear that you were not able to revert back to your original barcodes.
Moving forward, there are other inventory management apps on the Shopify App Store that allow you to generate and use barcodes, so I would encourage you to look into some of those if you no longer wish to use Retail Barcode Labels: https://bit.ly/3fsgr8V. -Victor, Shopify Support
Like everything on Shopify....doesn't work. Prints wrong orientation or not at all, but shame on me. Fool me once, when I decided to use Shopify, shame on them, fool me twice, when I thought Shopify would support the hardware they recommend and sell to you, shame on me. There goes another $120 bucks, on the plus side it Dymo printer looks very nice sitting next to the Rollo printer they sold me that also doesn't work. I got a real nice collection of paper weights going on here.
Massive issue with this app and google shopping feed - have spent hours rectifying the issues this has caused and has un-synced all my products with the google shopping feed! PLEASE FIX!!!!
does not support device camera scanning because it cant generate 10 digit barcode, look for something else if you want to use ios camera as barcode scanner

While you can use the device camera to scan the barcodes (https://bit.ly/3DLLzXR), it seems to only support the 1D or 2D barcodes generated by the app. Nevertheless, we'd be happy to share your feedback with our developers. This app is terrible. It takes twice as long to setup and print barcodes. There is little customization and it only works in chrome.

The old version had its limits, was finicky, and took many tries to master but the new version is absolutely useless. There are way too many steps involved and the worst is the issue that it now treats the Dymo Labelwriter like a network printer - the proper Dymo label types I use do not show up on my label options list so I can't print anything at all.
Hi there, thank you for providing us with feedback on Retail Barcode Labels app! All Dymo label formats are supported but some do require a different workflow than others, such as exporting the label information to be used in the Dymo desktop software. This new version gets zero stars from me. I have a case of the Dymo labels from the old app to use and there is no template for them on the new app. I tried to grab something close, but half of the label is cut off and the print is tiny. I also have to take MORE steps to create and print barcodes...which I definitely do not have time for. If you're going to create something new...maybe it should be better? More efficient than the last? I cannot tell you how much I HATE this new version!
Been unable to print with my Dymo label printer, contacted support but getting nowhere. Basically the app is all setup, when I press print the labels come out but are completely blank! No information on them at all. Printer works fine when printing labels outside of Shopify!
