I am very disappointed. The company is advertising three plans here in the App Store, which seems competitive with other apps. But the truth is that the highest plan in Shopify is just a bait-and-switch offer. In reality, it is one of the lowest plans the company has. If you are a company that has between 300 and 500 orders, you have to switch to a higher plan, which is not available in Shopify.
The switch is also highly problematic and unprofessional. You then have to switch to credit card payment. However, the Shopify subscription is not stopped, but simply continues to be charged. I have been trying to get a refund for more than a week now. They keep putting me off and saying they can't access the Shopify plans. That's not professional...

Migration support is non-existent. Tried migrating 500 reviews over from JudgeMe and keep our Google syndication intact, but all features were completely blocked and support wouldn't help. Off to YotPo we go..
Beware when you go to cancel the service, you have to go and check your email which it doesnt let you know was even sent to then double opt out of their service. When I brought up this scammy slimy move they said they wouldnt even refund it unbeknownst they kept charging me month to month. Had to dispute them with my credit card. Terrible business practice and they were also no help with install. Very pricey.
We have been using Reviews.io for some time, but unfortunately, it's time for a change. While reviews are a crucial aspect of any small business, and negative feedback can be a powerful motivator for improvement, Reviews.io seems to prioritize the consumer's perspective at the expense of the retailer's fair representation.
We have repeatedly encountered situations where customers have posted reviews with incorrect information or outright falsehoods. When we've requested these reviews to be removed or moderated, Reviews.io has consistently refused to act, leaving us, the retailers, unfairly exposed and unable to present our side of the story. We do respond however the damage false reviews causes our small business is sometimes irreversible.
A review platform should ensure a balanced and fair approach for both consumers and businesses. Unfortunately, Reviews.io does not provide this balance, making it clear that our interests are not being protected. With numerous alternatives available at a much lower cost, we are seriously considering switching to a service that values fairness and transparency for both parties involved. Reviews can only be removed if extreme, in my opinion, criteria is met (vulgar language, spam/advertising, off-topic, and conflict of interest). There is NO option for fake reviews or false information in the review. None whatsoever.
I am aware that Reviews.io might claim to be the superior choice, but when they leave retailers hanging out to dry, such claims are irrelevant. Our account renewal is coming up in a few months, and we are actively exploring better options.

The worst thing is that if we want to export our reviews, we have to upgrade to the 90€ plan, which is insane.
Customer support doesn't answer their emails, and chat is not available.
It's one of the best review apps, but it's highly overpriced—I wouldn't switch to them if I hadn't already.

If you want to change the platform you have to at least take the Grow subscription from reviews.io which currently costs $299
You have collected reviews for years and then have to pay for a higher
subscription before you leave just to download the file....
Unbelievable, NEVER AGAIN
We understand your frustrations regarding the subscription fees and the need for a higher-tier plan to export your reviews.
Unfortunately, the Start-Up plan does come with certain limitations including the inability to export reviews.

**The most unprofessional review app we've ever encountered!**
They create a public review page for every business on their platform, allowing anyone to leave anonymous reviews—regardless of truth or accountability.
Even after we stopped using the app, people can still leave false 1-star reviews anonymously, damaging our reputation with no way to defend ourselves. I personally reached out to REVIEWS.io on November 5, 2024, politely requesting that our page be deleted since we no longer use their services. Not only did we receive NO RESPONSE, but our page remains active, and every attempt to contact them has been blatantly IGNORED.
This level of negligence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. Avoid this app at all costs! It’s a nightmare for any business trying to maintain its reputation. Save yourself the frustration and don't trust reviews.io!
One of the few applications with a Polish language version on Shopify. Great support, responds quickly and is very helpful.
EDIT: When I upgraded to a higher package, I was treated unprofessionally. Simple bug fixes take months. Also, after upgrading, I lost access to several features I had on the lower package. Think twice before you choose this company.
EDIT2: After a few more weeks of waiting for the introduction of a couple of translations that are simply wrong in Polish and reminding the support about it, the chat function for reporting problems simply disappeared :) We were abandoned. I will add another update in some time. Greetings

The worst reviews app. Their flows do not work, so you will be missing months of potential reviews, and they are not accountable for their mistakes. On top of that they dont give you back the reviews collected when you switch platforms, basically they steal your private information, even the ones you imported when you started using the app. Its a FRAUD
