Shop has a strict policy that removes you from Shop when you get one chargeback. However, we only get the one random, semi-annual chargeback FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS! They have the most fraudulent customers. The last one requested a refund as soon as they received a shipped confirmation, before delivery. Then, when they returned it, the customer submitted a chargeback 2 days before USPS delivered it! Of course when the bank looks at it, they just see a refund due. The bank doesn't care that you can't process it as normal because of the only option is to accept the chargeback & fee. The customer would've received a refund anyway but made us get a chargeback fee. The Shop's customers will change their mind right after purchasing and become shocked that your business is set up to actually compete orders not somehow disrupt carriers who have millions of parcels and stop the delivery of one thing they voluntary went online and purchased. Shop punishes your business for shady customers who only find your store through their app. Out of all the sales channels we use. The rare chargeback is always a Shop' customer.

HTML descriptions are tore out. Leaving important images and diagrams out, which leads to confusion, miss orders and then unreasonable negative feedback.

There is an issue with the header logo it won’t let me change or delete image

I love the idea of the shop app. The complete lack of control over the products shown in the app are frustrating af because it is primarily showing our lowest priority products and add-on products that I don't even want visible on the Shop app. I also don't want to have to unlist them on my website or impact my store's SEO because the Shop app doesn't have control over what is listed any other way.

I want to use the advertising. I'd LOVE to give you money for advertising but not when I have zero control over the items advertised and zero control over the customer journey.

I have a hero product that I'd love to advertise, but I can't, because instead the app is showing $1 tea bags and $3 incense boxes that are add-on items to my actual products.

I'm surprised at how wildly frustrating it is.

Be careful....this app automatically publishes items from your online store to the SHOP APP even if SHOP is toggled off in publishing.

Shop's advertising tools have very little flexibility. You would think that a large company like Shopify would have more robust ad options. We can't even create campaigns by product categories.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MANUAL PAYMENTS

Shop Pay will totally hijack your checkout and prevent customers from seeing manual payment options unless they happen to notice and click a tiny "check out as guest" link. Utterly bad UX!

My business clients need to see "Purchase Order" front and center.

A very slick channel, easy to edit, customers enjoy using it and the ease of checking out.

Unfortunately if you use, say infinite options because your catalogue is super wide rather than deep, and the ridiculous 100 variant cap is quickly met, shop will not work. and of course to upset customers who didn't get what they thought that might, it's all merchants fault according to shopify.

As soon as shopify gives all it's merchants the options of making more than 100 veriants I'll launch shop again. until then, they'll just keep shooting themselves in the feet thinking all stores sell 3 variants of stuff.
