WARNING: THIS APP IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH SHOPIFY PLUS STORES.
Extremely disappointed. I was very excited for this app to arrive after the hype of Winter Editions, and when it was announced that it was in full release in the Summer Editions I immediately jumped on it.
However, it appears that, despite there being no warnings or notices anywhere in the Summer Editions, on the Bundles help page, or here in the app store, this bundle only works if you have "checkout extensibility" - something that is only available to Shopify Plus customers. At the very least, Shopify could be up front about that, but they were not. In order to find this out, I had to follow several links and then confirm with support. Very misleading, and VERY disappointing.
Sorry for any confusion or misinformation on this point - Shopify Bundles is not only for Shopify Plus merchants. We've updated documentation to make things clearer. The Shopify Bundles app can be used by stores on any Shopify Plan as long as they meet the eligibility requirements listed here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/bundles.
The Shopify Bundles App doesn't work with Shopify point of sale, it works with the online store only.

Receipts show the price paid for a bundle split between all the component items rather than being for the bundle being a product in itself, that means this is useless for gift companies that sell curated gifts which is unfortunate because that is exactly who this app was supposed to be for.
App doesnt work, and Shopify+ support cant give us any more information which for the fee they charge is crazy

App is good in theory.
However, there is no possible solution to bundling products that already have their own packaging (ex. 2 boxes, one for each product) and Shopify creating 2 shipping labels since both product box weights are different, It will only create 1 shipping label for the first product listed in the bundle and doesn't make one for the second product in the bundle. I can see this working for a cosmetic brand that will pack their own boxes with products but not with brands that have their packaging pre-existing. I believe it would be as easy as creating 2 bundle SKUs, one for each product in the bundle.
I have contacted support multiple times for this feature to be looked into. Frustrating for such an easy fix, would love to see this feature added!
Did this really just create another product...One page at a time? I can see that I can take one variant and combine it with the variants on another page. But all my products have variants. So I don't need to make 20 new product pages for each variant to bundle with the other variants. This clutters up my clean and easy to navigate site. No reason to lie here. We always hope the updates make our store owner lives easier. I can't see this one helping. bummer. I guess I'll keep using the X & Y discount code, which also should allow for a specific price amount discount to make an exact price bundle (only allowing percentages or BOGO free is limiting when you are trying to discount exact amounts.) We still have a ways to go on making bundles easy, what seems to be a very basic option. I'm disappointed.

As part of our recent bundles launch we also launched a curated collection of third-party bundle apps that have recently updated their apps to provide support for additional bundle types (including mix-and-match), that allow multiple variations of products in a bundle, and also provide some of the same benefits as Shopify Bundles, including direct integration to Shopify admin and real-time inventory syncing. The bundles API only transfers the contained products, but no information about the bundles they belong to. This results in invoice-creation-apps like Billbee and Pickware not displaying the bundle-name on our customers invoices. Also the automated pricing for the contained products is inacceptable.
Price does not update after discount.
Thanks Shopify for launching this but it needs a lot of work before it works for me.
The pricing and weight information doesn't pull through from individual products to the bundle. This means that I have to manually add up the weights and prices associated with the bundle, and if I want to make changes to the weight or price of an individual product that's in a bundle, I have to do it in two locations (i.e. the product and bundle).
What's more, there's no option for customers to choose quantity 0 which is odd given that they can choose other quantities. This is really useful for recipe bundles where the customer already has some of the ingredients.
Shopify has purposefully hamstrung this app in order to avoid stepping on the toes of app developers.
It only works on the Online Store channel. That's right; Bundles won't work on Shopify POS or anything other sales channel.
Shopify is generating so much money from app revenue kickbacks that they are unwilling to provide feature-complete first-party apps to solve problems that should already be part of the main product. Any point of sale program worth its salt has this feature. But with Shopify, that comes at the price of yet another monthly subscription.
