App did a good job transferring the data took about 8 hours so if you have over 6000 items thats not to un realistic
Price is reasonable. I will definitely use this app again I think 8 hours is great compared to manually inputing data which could take weeks

Realize that this app does not copy everything.
It does not copy over your navigation. In my case it failed to copy about a quarter of the collections at all, and in those that it did copy, it failed to populate some of them.
It also does not copy over images that are not product.
So, while this saved a hundred hours of duplicating things, I still have to carefully go through every little bit of stuff to see where this app has screwed up and still have to manually upload photo's and configure other apps whose information did not transfer.
YOU STILL HAVE A TON OF WORK TO DO......DON'T KID YOURSELF - THIS DOES NOT COMPLETELY COPY AN ENTIRE STORE.

De app is not that perfect. The "select products" function is very poor. It doesn't makes it easy to select fast a group of products and the selection is not working good (if i select products and go to the next page to select more products, the clear the products i already selected. If i select an collection most of the time the products in this selection are not copied. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that we built up our collections by tag/productgroup/ supplier. But it is still not that easy to work and it cost you some many (3 dollar for an empty collection is expensive). But if you have build up your collections on the right way, it works good, fast and is not expensive.

Hey! Thanks for commenting! I'm Kaleigh, head of Customer Support. I've definitely passed on your feedback about the multi-select to our product team to work on!

As for the collection issue - manual collections are formatted slightly differently than smart collections from an API standpoint. With Smart collection copy turned on (a beta feature of ours) we can copy the rules of a collection AND the products within them but it's not the same for manual.

Let me know if you're doing further copies and I can have smart collection copies turned on for you :)

Worst situation imaginable. After coping product over between two of my stores, I was having an issue where edited products would daily revert back to original pictures and descriptions, losing me hours of work per day. I uninstalled rewind copy and rewind back up and severed the link between stores. Yet the issue remains, now a month later and I cannot launch my new store because products cannot be edited permanently and new products are still pulled through life to the destination store. Support it responsive but entirely unhelpful. Do not install this product.

Hello, Kaleigh here from Rewind Copy Support. I wanted to reach out and let you know that our developer team fully investigated this issue and found conclusively it was not related to our application. Our app - while it CAN make changes to live products on a destination account, this is only possible while a recurring copy job is live and the two sites are linked via the API and changes are being made on the source side.

I can understand the confusion, when product changes are happening without a good reason you look for recent changes to the site that might have contributed to this - however our product was not designed to 'revert' changes made to products, and the issue would not have persisted after you disconnected the API as our app injects no code, and we have no front end presence whatsoever.

I would pursue investigating this as a local ISP issue where saved changes time out before they reach Shopify because of poor internet connection. This can cause a product to appear as though it has 'reverted' when in fact changes were simply not saved in the first place due to an insecure connection.

I want to wish you good luck in investigating this issue further and let you know that we are happy to continue to work with you to copy your products, if and when you'd like to return once your problem has been resolved.

After finding out that Shopify is very, very limited in it's capability to push the proper customer currency at check out, I had no choice but to setup a second instance. Thanks to Replay I was able to take the literally hundreds of hours of time and effort to build my original site, and replicate that to another instance - in minutes.

If you faced the same issues as me, or are a developer who has templates to move to active sites - this app is a MUST. Since it is a pay per use app, it doesn't cost you anything to install - so do it today!

Did the job i needed it to do! I was a bit lost at first because i didn't know I needed to install the app on both stores and setup the source store before the destination store. But once i figured that out it was straight forward. A walk through instruction page would be good. They might have it but I didn't really look hard.

Appreciate that feedback! We do have some walkthrough videos about this, but I've passed this along to the product team to see how we can make it even clearer inside Replay.

When we were migrating from our Pipeline theme to stronger mobile optimized theme, it was imperative that we have REPLAY as part of the migration. It allowed our developer the time to ensure that the process was productive and easy. It also maintained the level of business.

App copy half of the things.
It was completely unusable. I used a dev and he has to redo everything basically costing me 3 times this app. I think it would have been cheaper to go without this app. I asked for support but so far except saying that my dev was incompetent they didn't help me at all. I rarely don't recommend an app, but I'm not recommending this one.

I used the app to copy one store and keep it updated on 2 destination stores and it works great. Even the themes were copied perfectly. The only reason I don't give 5 stars it's because you have to subscribe in the source store making it a very expensive App to keep.
