Extremely unhelpful support. We have payment issues because of API expiration on ReCharge's end during BFCM. Sounds urgent? Haven't heard from them until now, and supports keep out of office. It's simply reconnecting the API, but it seems they are not really concerned about this systems instability and merchant loss from it.
RECHARGE IDIOTS CANT FIX GLITCH RESUKTING IS THOUSANDS OF $$ LOST!!!!

Ok, so this glitch is SUPER annoying. It usually takes me 5 times to explain it to support, and I don't think they ever "get it". I did explain it to top management and they couldn't believe the system would have this glitch, but not enough people complain so they don't fix it.
Here is the issue. If you offer "FREE SHIPPING" codes, Shopify has a smart "limit to X dollars". Well Recharge doesn't have this limit. So if somebody orders a $10 product, and they have a free shipping code, they can request FREE FEDEX OVERNIGHT even internationally. So a $10 product can get $300 overnight fedex shipping for free. This really sucks. Every couple of weeks I catch the glitch but more often it goes out on it's own. Very annoying.

Absolute garbage. Where to even begin? Save yourself a LOT of headaches and don't come anywhere near this horrendous app.
Horrendous functionality, horrendous support, horrendous documentation. Absolute joke but not funny.
Worst customer support and it's like their job is to make people want to stop using ReCharge. Jon B said he would help and that he cared about my issue but he did nothing to resolve it. It's been 3 days. I'm paying thousands of dollars a year to ReCharge and no one from their team is helping. Customers update their credit cards but ReCharge doesn't update it on their end to use the new credit card. Disappointed. I hope you tell Jon B to improve his customer service

Pourtant, le support client avait toujours été rapide et très efficace quand nous en avions eu besoin -- il y a plus de deux ans. Les scénarios de recharge sont d'une grande utilité et l'application est globalement assez simple à utiliser.
Recharge has been a nightmare for us from day 1. Their customer support has been non-existent, they refuse to help if you have other apps installed and blame everything that doesn't work on other apps - even though we paid a premium for 'priority' support. They don't support currency conversions, so discounts actually ADDED the value of the discount to the price. When we had complaints from our customers on how confusing the customer portal was, they charged $300/month to customize it, and you still have to pay a developer 1000s on top of that. After more than 2 years, we finally found another solution that works for us and we have never been so happy to get rid of an app than Recharge. Good Riddance.
Truly an awful system that we have nothing but issues with. There is always some limitation or issue to face.. nothing is straight-forward or easy. Customers can never update the subscriptions themselves and often email me stating they have tried so many times to change something and they give up. I will be changing to another system as soon as I possibly can!
Terrible app. Despite setting up the tax settings to the staff's specification, for 30% of our customers, the app double charges taxes. Understandably, we get a ton of angry customers and chargebacks because of this. I opened a ticket 8 days ago for this. Since then, my ticket has bounced around to multiple agents, and I've received useless suggestions like 'disable the taxes' or 'regenerate the charges'. We've been using recharge for 4 of our stores, and we're now going through the painful process of migrating to someone else. So far, skio seems like a good option. If you're a medium sized company looking for a subscription app, I suggest you stay away from these guys and pay for a proper solution - even outside of this tax issue, the app is full of glitches.
None of the functions in this app work. When you try and cancel a subscription it never works and that is a great way piss a customer off when they see their $300+ subscription has been renewed and they don't want it. I have tired to delete the app and the instructions they give you don't even work. This app sucks so bad.

The entire app stopped working completely without any warning and every single one of my customer orders is not being processed correctly. This app has negatively impacted my revenue and customer service and the level of support is not helpful. I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue for weeks on end and it's still not resolved. Recharge will not even tell me what went wrong to cause this in the first place. I DO NOT recommend this app.
