I had been using this app for almost two years for a monthly art pin subscription club.
Unfortunately the price hike makes this unusable for very small businesses. I can handle a % fee increase because it is scaled to the size of my business, but the new $99 per month flat fee kills this for small businesses and those just starting out. This new monthly fee represents a price hike of over 900% per month for me.
This might work for larger customers who can easily absorb a flat fee, but for little guys like myself and several others I have spoken to, this just doesn't work.
At least I have the rest of 2023 to migrate to another solution for my club.

None of the functions in this app work. When you try and cancel a subscription it never works and that is a great way piss a customer off when they see their $300+ subscription has been renewed and they don't want it. I have tired to delete the app and the instructions they give you don't even work. This app sucks so bad.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I recently migrated over to a new website and needed to migrate my Recharge customers over to the new website, and after nearly 2 weeks I am STILL WAITING for my customers to be migrated over by Recharge and now at risk of loosing business as a result. AVOID THIS APP
This is a very bad app. They advertise that it's fully integrated but its just not. Do you yourself a favor and google ReCharge for Shopify Everything It Claims To Be? for you start. It will give you a more honest review. I wish I read this before we signed up
Prepare to annoy and frustrate your most loyal customers, and receive numerous emails to help manage their subscriptions. App is so buggy at the moment that I can't even manage my own subscriptions with them. If I, the owner, can't do it, you better bet your customers can't. Been using them for over a year!
Probably the most UN - USER FRIENDLY app on Shopify. Customers find it hard to swap, pause, cancel, items. Admin backend is terrible and backward, need 100's of clicks to make changes and have to do everything ONE BY ONE. Support is slow unless you PAY FOR PREMIUM SUPPORT. You should know the value of recurring orders is HUGE for online stores and you need to improve your over all interface. I have lost customers as they get frustrated to use the customer account management system, its terrible
Was on this app for almost 3 years. Now they say they are switching and charging everyone $99.00 a month. This created a lot of work for me now, Not happy about this.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Where to start. A - If you plan to use this with shopify checkout - find something else. It simply does not work, causes major bugs and here is the best part. THE SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTANT. Save yourself time, money and headaches and go with a company that's built something that works with Shopify!
Interface is clunky (can't easily find where to do things like modifying outgoing email copy) and uses difficult-to-understand language, especially in the updates section of customer accounts. We lost two subscriptions because they were put through as one-time purchases yet Recharge couldn’t explain why. The add-ons section looks unrefined and is difficult for customers to comprehend (a time-consuming process for the few who do) so we lose out on add-on purchases. Now, we’re trying to achieve the ‘simple’ task of updating our email address: not only have we gone back-and-forth with Recharge for over a week, now we’re receiving error messages and customer emails are still going from our old email. Once our plan is up, we’re moving to a new app—also one that won't charge $99/month plus a transaction fee—even at the risk of losing current subscribers.

Can someone please get back to me.
Since 6 months ago we are requesting to convert to a Shopify checkout integration as recharge is not compatible with out delivery date selector Zapiet. Customers can't make any new subscriptions as no-one can checkout with a subscription product at the moment.
I've messaged and emailed so many times to your support team, please please please help.
