This is a superb app especially considering that it's 100% free. Since discovering Tawk.to through Shopify we have gone further to integrate their system on both our Shopify store and some of our other non storefront based websites.
This app offers excellent real time monitoring of your website statistics such as:
Visitors
Page Views
Client Chats
Along with many more statistics. You can easily delegate chats between different members of staff once setup and the admin section is very user friendly meaning you don't need any technical knowledge to use this app.
You can also convert chats into support tickets through this app, this can be very useful when you receive more technical enquiries and need to find out further information on your products.
Overall this is an absolutely brilliant app considering it's FREE and we would definitely recommend this app to others looking for a live chat service.

I have tried so many chat apps and I always seem to come back to this one. Free, simple, consistent, and the best!
Amazing app! easy to navigate and use. A lot of feature to explore! Page loading time is 3X faster than with another live chat app!! Fast and efficient tool to communicate.

Cannot believe that a free app like this exists! Exceptional in functionality, so easy to integrate and immediately use. My site gets a decent bit of traffic for starters and tawk makes it ridiculously simple to connect or be connected with. Design options are available as well and they can be matched exactly to your website as well. Test it on my site www.edgability.com if you need to, there will always be someone available to chat since there is a mobile app alongwith the desktop app. Free!!

You can also set separate positions for your widget on desktop and mobile devices.
Follow these steps to change the position of the widget on mobile:

4. Under Mobile Widget, select your preferred Mobile Widget Position.

I wanted to wait until I'd used the app for a while before leaving a review, as I wanted to give it a fair trial, not a 'knee-jerk', first impression review. I read so many reviews that people put up without getting to 'know' the product first, to really use it, and that isn't fair to the developers or the people reading them.
That said, I am VERY impressed with tawk.to Live Chat. It was easy to set up, quite customizable, and has SO much info - far more than I would expect in a 'chat app', much less a FREE one. SO many features, and no, I don't and won't use them all, as I'm a small home-based business, but I can see how these would benefit a larger company for sure. I did try other apps first and they just didn't work for me. This app was installed and ready to go in minutes - on all my devices, which is something that the other apps failed miserably at.
I still have a bit of a learning curve, but I am very satisfied. Totally reliable, I never miss a customer question, and have been able to close sales just because of having the ability to answer questions live, on the spot, when the customer is 'in buy mode'.
Great job on this app - far more than I would expect for free, and more good things to come - can't wait!!

So glad I found this app... I was really hesitant to add live chat to my site, as I was nervous to how it would incorporate into my life and work. This app was incredibly easy to install, works great and has great functionality. I'm able to schedule the live chat to be available during only certain hours (so that it won't wake me when I'm sleeping at night!) and I can even choose to hide it from visitors during that time or give them the opportunity to "leave a message", but show that I am offline.
The analytics and monitoring it provides is excellent and I have no complaints after having it installed for a few days. Really thankful and surprised that an app with such great functionality is committed to providing such a great free service.

The Scheduler allows you to manage the operating days and times of the chat widget.
It will automatically switch your widget offline according to your schedule, so you never have to worry about forgetting to log out of your account.
It works in tandem with your agents, if there are no agents online when your widget is scheduled to be online, the widget will instead stay offline.

This is a great app. I wasted a week trying another app that has fees associated with it. The other app was unstable.
I'm a developer and I recognize quality when I see it. Tawk.to is a polished app. It's easy to install, and does what it's supposed to do.
They are clearly listening to their users.
You can't go wrong with this app.

One of the best apps I've installed on my app. Tawk.to gives you LIVE visitors review on your dashboard. Meaning, you can see live, how many visitors you have at any given point. Also, I downloaded the iPhone app, works perfectly. Now, I can always answer a question whenever I go, with the iPhone app.
