I found the following issue with the translation tool:
The translation tool doesn't maintain proper spacing when carrying over bold formatting from German to English
Example:
German (correct): "...aus Bio-Aloe Vera und..."
English (incorrect): "...oforganic aloe veraand..."
English (should be): "...of organic aloe vera and..."
All bold formatted text segments in the English translation lack spaces before and after them
This happens consistently with every bold text segment in the translation
Tried to use the translation, but so many are not correct, so I manually corrected them but it won't update in the website, the website still has the wrong version.
Really good. But there could be content requiring translation which is missing from the translation table. But it's not common.
extremely versatile and complete. Full control over translations. I'm even able to upload different logo's and images in other languages
Very good app, only the biggest problem is that it does not support more languages!
I needed to translate the site into German. The application managed 5. I recommend it!
The translations are quite OK considering it's free. However I'm facing an annoying problem - the app is using some old content from my first app installation a few months back. I had started translating but deinstalled the app as I didn't need it anymore. Last week I reinstalled it and I can see that the app used some of my old content. I cannot understand how it happened, but somehow the content has not been updated during the automatic translation of my shop. In consequence, the text is not properly translated. There's also no option to translate text on the main page. I'm translating from French to German - as I'm fluent in both, I can see that there are many mistakes which makes it look very unprofessional. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me how to reach the support team.
EDIT - Rich from the support team reached out to me 1-2 days after I submitted my review and provided concise explanations and the needed solutions for the issues I had been facing. I realized that I had overlooked the feature for editing the homepage directly in Translate&Adapt which I apology for. As I wrote before, the translations are good and the app is simple and straightforward to use (unless you overlook a feature like I did). The only negative point and the reason why I'm giving it 4* is because the app only allows you to translate the content into two languages although I assume most store owners would need to have their pages translated into at least 3 languages if they are active in or want to expand internationally. Hope that in the future a paid plan will be offered. I'd definitely pay for one or two more automatic translations. Other than that, I'm quite happy with the app as it perfectly fits my needs for now.

This app was working fine until a couple days ago. Some products have wrong translation in Spanish, French and German. When I click auto-translate it doesn't fix it.
I contacted Shopify and they suggest me to manually edit but I have 2329 product pages. There is no way I can do it manually.
It messed up our SEO, they don't even care about the issue. We pay thousands of dollars to them every month and this is the service we get.
All good, needs some adjustments here and there but overall good!
So far it's very easy and works great! But many of our customers speak Haitian Creole, and it is not available. There's also not an option to just add your own language and do things manually, which I would be willing to do. Hopefully I can make that happen for all our Haitian customers (aka most of our customers!!)
