Initially loved this, however they have updated the app and in order to use any of their review widgets you must pay their minimum fee of £250 per month. Just to reiterate, in order to show customer reviews (which are not owned by TrustPilot) you must pay TrustPilot £250 per month alongside being forced to sign up to their platform and signing over your business details, in order to show the public owned reviews that YOUR customers have left. Combine this with the daily chasing emails you recieve from Account Managers to sign you up to this service, it feels very bait and switch. I am frustrated as I will now have to migrate all my reviews to another platform.
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. We have not been able to see the TrustPilot reviews on our site for over 3 months. It takes them 2 weeks to answer an email, and then it is to ask for the same information that I have already sent. When I finally was able to chat with someone who could see that I was telling the truth about what was going on, they quickly said they would get it to the engineering team. That was 3 weeks ago. And yet, they are very quick at collecting their money. DO NOT GET THIS APP. The customer service is horrible. The support team appears to be non-existent. This app was suggested to us by our CRO Team. We should have investigated the app before we allowed it to be added. It's been a disaster. At least we kept Judge.me. We are happy with them.

Very frustrating software, they paywall you reviews if you need to export them for any issues. The limitations compared to other review apps are so apparent if you just check out a few competitors. Few options and unhelpful support. On top of that I get random sales agents calling me trying to sell me their service every month. Terrible highly do not recommend.
They are not capable to detect and delete spam reviews, they are not capable of detecting competitors lying about their reviews on their website with the help of trustpilot widget, do not ever think paying them 170 eur a month for nothing.
Hello VoltFiets,
Thanks for sharing your review, and for letting us give our perspective.
Trustpilot works around the clock to ensure our site is Trustworthy, this includes having fraud detection software that scans each review and removes those that appear to be fake, access to a community flagging tool that allows reviewers to flag reviews that seem suspicious, a Whistleblower feature where you can contact our investigations team about suspicious behaviour on Trustpilot, as well as a dedicated team of Content Integrity agents who investigate reports of misuse.
We are led by strong guidelines that help us to decide if a review is compliant or not. It is not in our interest to favour one party or the other - we are here to be a fair and impartial third party. Your trust is what makes Trustpilot work, so we would never do anything to jeopardize that.
Please feel free to continue the dialogue with Content Integrity whether you have further doubts.
All the best,
Flavio - Trustpilot
Is this some kind of joke? The pricing plans, especially when considering the amount of spam/fake reviews that run rife on Trustpilot, are completely ridiculous. I was hoping that the free plan would just cover a limited number of reviews and perhaps at least 1-2 basic widgets just so small businesses can 'get off the ground' and then I would upgrade once orders start coming in, but NO. You have to pay straight away to use anything at all. If they charged a small fee per order/review sent, that would make more sense, but as it stands, it's just a complete rip-off. I hesitate to use the word "scam", but this is coming awfully close. I just uninstalled after 10 mins, and found another MUCH better alternative with a fair pricing structure.
App maakt geen verbinding tussen shopify en trustpilot.
Incredibly unethical/immoral pricing -- completely useless for small businesses. No matter which way they spin it, $259/month to have the BASIC ability to show your score, is insanity.
Used to have a free widget that displayed score, which they removed. They try justifying their prices by the 'features', which a majority of users likely don't want nor care for.
Switched to making use of Google Reviews -- a free way to display your review score.
I'd be happy to switch back to TrustPilot and edit this review, if their practises became more consumer friendly.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us with this review.
We're sad to hear you're thinking about leaving Trustpilot.
Collaboration and dialogue is most important to us and we really appreciate you taking the time to share this experience with us. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant teams to take into account and look further into.

Trustpilot
Fake/Non-genuine reviews run rife on Trustpilot. And they do nothing about it to protect businesses. We have 1 star reviews about trainers, we don't even sell trainers... However Trustpilot will not investigate these issues, they allow you to flag, but will just give a generic template response. It's a shame that the site holds such buyer trust because when you start to look at the detail it's clear to see that it has real issues with fake reviews/ bots.
Looking forward to another textbook generic response to follow this below.
Hello there,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're mournful to read about your concerns, but please rest assured that we definitely don't allow fake reviews on our platform since we've zero tolerance for this matter.
We encourage you to continue flagging any suspicious reviews, as it helps us identify and address potential problems more effectively. We've safeguards, monitoring, and specially-trained teams to combat fake reviews. Which we're always improving on and investing in, as fake reviews have a serious macro impact on both customers and businesses.
Therefore, I strongly encourage you to reach out to our Content Integrity team directly filling this form to share further examples or add details:

Very bad experience, they installed badges on the homepage without my permission, community Q&A couldn't find removal measures, so called customer service just disappeared, will never use again!
Hi,
Thanks for sharing this review.
Widgets and Trustpilot badges can only be placed on a website, by the owner of the website.
I can see that my colleagues from Support have been in touch with you regarding the widgets showing on your website. They advised these were not linked to the Shopify integration but were installed with Trustpilot Google tag manager. From what I can see now, I believe you have been able to remove these accordingly from your website.
Should you still require any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Support department and they will be happy to further assist.
Have a nice day.
Kind regards,
Trustpilot
Doesn't worth it , My customers were invited from the app to give a review after they had an order, Trustpilot removed their feedback ...... totally useless and they are asking from the customer invoices LOL Your app invited them to review their didn't come from nowhere . Go check your APP if the order it legit as they got invited from your app.
Hello Kovendor,
Thanks for getting in touch and allowing us to give you our perspective.
We understand that it can be frustrating if your clients' reviews are removed from the platform, especially when under invitation. We want to assure you that this is not something that is done arbitrarily. Reviews are only removed when our software detects an unusual pattern or feature in a review. To keep Trustpilot safe and reliable, we've got an automated detection software that scans every review posted on Trustpilot. Our software is constantly being refined and improved to identify any historic reviews that may go against our guidelines.
This could be for example if the reviewer has more than one Trustpilot account or if the review has been identified as being written from an IP address related to the business.
There are many reasons why this could be the case. In some instances, we can't give a definitive answer as it would compromise our internal processes and allow our fraud prevention processes to be circumvented.
I strongly suggest contacting our Content Integrity Team using this form in case you have further questions: https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000910020
Thank you for your patience and have a nice day.
