The app required the developer customization but I was very happy with the outcome. They even optimized the code to make it work faster. I would recommend it..
The team at StarApps was very helpful and prompt in getting the variant image app to integrate with our custom Shopify theme. The app almost worked out of the box there were just a few minor hiccups. The automator app is amazing! It solves all problems that Shopify isn't really built for. I originally had problems with it working together with a zoom app, but the tech support team at "Variant Image" quickly assessed the situation, customized their code, and had me fully operational in less than 36 hours. Great app even better tech support. A++++
Great app! There is a code snippet you can install for a faster load of the variants which is something I really appreciate over other similar apps. We also had an issue (we incorrectly attributed to this app) and the devs went into our store and fixed it - even though it wasn't actually caused by the app.
