I've just started working with Vela on both Shopify & Etsy. I like the merge feature between listings - this helps me compare listings side by side and make quick updates
This app is the way you wish Shopify worked right out the box to help you manage your products. Ability to bulk edit anything, manipulate images, manage tags .. I haven't explored all of the functionality yet but it saves SO much time that the cost savings are incredible. Plus a lovely user interface to boot. Customer service has also been very responsive and helpful. Honestly, for $10 a month, this app is a no-brainer decision for your store.
You will wonder how you did without this app! It really does save you hours, days and weeks of time. Impressive intuitive layout that only took a couple minutes to work out. Absolutely love it.
The app has a lot of features and some great support. It is missing some features like image support for descriptions and replacement of the entire description. But the owner says it will be added in the future. 5 Stars because it is a good app now and will probably be even better in the future.
Saves me massive time -- this app is a must have . You can add pictures to all listing ..one click - increase prices -- one click to everything
bait and switch!
first this app was free. then after a couple years they started charging. now they have changed the version I have been paying for....it now requires I switch and upgrade from my paid account...to a Pro version 2x the price. if we were with you through the developing stage and suffered some of your major hiccups ( I remember one bug that wiped all my pricing out). then you should be loyal to us long time clients. BAITING NEW CLIENTS WITH A 5$ account, that I guess isn't even offered anymore(?) only to later make them upgrade to the $10 app, not cool.
as if holding back our access to an account we PAY for will be less noticeable or less outrageous if you raise our pricing in incremental steps.

This review is completely false and misleading. To clarify, we've launched several new features recently, yet some are exclusive to Vela Plus. In order to give all users the opportunity to explore these features, we provided a FREE week of Vela Plus to ALL users currently subscribed to Vela Lite.
There are no strings attached, no obligation to upgrade, and no "bait & switch." All users were simply given a free week to access ALL Plus functionality. If, after the trial week, a user does not upgrade, they will automatically revert to Lite.
This was explained in detail via email and within the platform. Fortunately, the vast majority of users have welcomed the opportunity to explore new features for FREE, but we will make things even more explicit in the future.
I purchased this app so that I could more easily share listings on my shopify store on etsy. After connecting the two stores, I have been able to copy listings, in bulk, from one store to the other. Although I originally wanted to copy listings from shopify to etsy, I learned that I could also copy from etsy to shopify. In addition, Vela has saved me so much time because the tag feature has allowed me to add tags in bulk to entire groups of listings, whereas previously, I was entering the tags on a product-by-product basis. I recommend this product to anyone looking for easy way to share listings between shopify and etsy stores.
Vela has been a lifesaver for me. It's actually insane how much it has helped my business grow. I first started using Vela For Etsy. Then I noticed its also on Shopify. Using this tool for both of my platforms has been fantastic. Shopify in its raw form is very time consuming, and honestly over-complicated. Using this service has drastically cut down the time needed to modify my listings. I mean DAYS worth of work saved.
In the rare cases I needed support, They are always prompt and friendly.
Out of every service i have tried, This has been by far the easiest and quickest.

This app is fantastic! Best free bulk editor out there! I would recommend this to anyone who needs to edit a bunch of products at once.
I tried Vela to help me manage my listings on Shopify and Etsy. It has an easy to use GUI and it performs perfectly. I have tried many sync / integration softwares and this is by far the easiest to use, the best looking, and it does what it sets out and promises to do. I can't recommend it enough. I would also point out that at $5 a shop or $10 for the plus program that is a steal. Saving even a few minutes in ecommerce is worth hundreds of dollars. You get what you pay for in life and this is a bargain. As they add more features I am sure the price will increase and I feel it will be well worth it.
