Rewind Backups

This app is a lifesaver. It works really well and is easy to understand. The ability to restore now and to restore just one product, one collection or the entire site makes this ideal for this site and all my client's sites.

Quick and solid customer service!

This app is like buying insurance - you hate to spend the money, but you know you could be screwed one day so you do it "just in case." The app works well to date - thankfully, I have had no reason to actively use it, but feel much better knowing that I can if I need to. This is one of those "it's much better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it" situations.

You know that moment you realize you just f-up something and there is no UNDO? It happened to us 12hs before launching our store for Black Friday. A simple CSV upload error erased all of our variant images (yes! that can happen if you decide to change some of the variant names in your Excel sheet!! Common Shopify!) And what do you know... There is no backup for that.
Even if we re-uploaded our original csv file the variant images sources had been swiped away from Shopify's database. I personally had to re-upload all variants to our store...
Took me 4 very sweaty hours. Right after this mess, we decided to search for a Backup Solution and Rewind showed up in our searches. The app does what it's supposed to do.
Keep backups of almost everything on your store.
And an easy way to revert if you ever mess up something. Their customer service is very responsive and the installation is pretty much brainless. Nothing to add to your them code. This is a must-have for any store with a decent amount of products or orders (yes it will even backup your orders and clients!). You get a "one-click" restore to specific dates for Collections, products, blogs, customers, pages, Product Images, Smart Collections and Themes. Believe me, this will save your ass when the sh*t hits the fan.

Saved my bacon! Lost my entire theme, had it restored in minutes.

I luckily haven't needed to use REWIND to restore my site and data but knowing that for $10 a month I'm covered, its great! The support team is helpful and available. This is the cheapest insurance I pay for. Thank you Rewind!

I am writing this review as Mike from REWIND is currently helping me resolve a code issue that another APP caused on our site.

First and foremost this company has great communication and support practices. They truly do care about us Shopify Store owners. Mike is going through code right now to find a bug that changed layout issues that another APP update caused a new padding shift. This was very difficult to identify what was causing the problem since all APPs we had have been installed for many months with no issues.

Mike got down to the code and began to figure it out after we first attempted to roll back our theme using their very slick REWIND VAULT function. Once we realized its not code in our theme, but an outside APP that loads code beyond Shopifies Liquid Theme code we found this issue. Mike did not have to do this as it was not his problem. Their REWIND APP does everything you could hope for in a full backup of Website or just specific elements. You can choose what you want to restore or restore the entire site front to back.... I mean everything or just one piece..... It really is the best APP for sleeping well at night knowing your always backed up safely.

The interface is very easy to understand with a very sleek U/I layout.

What more can I say.... Mike and the REWIND Team have a customer for life and I am grateful to have found this APP knowing all the hard work we do will never be lost. What is that worth to anyone ? To me its priceless.
