Our review collection went down 75% - It's a horrible review collection platform and horribly cumbersome ux to use. We were promised that we would be able to incentivize reviews which we knew was key for us, but they actually have no way to do that -- they sold us the klayvio integration as the way to do it claiming our success manager would help us set it up to send, but there is not a way to incentivize reviews unless you send customers individual codes one by one which is not a workable solution or use one code that then can be picked up by coupon sites. It's also very heavy on site and slows things down. We do see a benefit from review syndication with partners, but If there was another way to syndicate reviews we'd opt out. We are in the process of switching to use another partner for review collection and just use them syndicate. It's more expensive but the ROI will be much better because their review collection is so poor.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like other businesses need to hear this. We’ve been working with Bazaarvoice at Sun Home Saunas and it’s honestly been one of the worst vendor experiences we’ve ever had.

Their customer service is awful—slow to respond, unhelpful, and just generally not supportive. The platform itself is super clunky and outdated, which made even basic things frustrating.

But the worst part? Their contracts. We had to shut down our B2B program due to the tariffs, and even though our 12-month term was up, they refused to let us out. They’re hiding behind legal fine print and taking a “gotcha” approach instead of working with us like partners.

I've never dealt with a company that was this rigid, impersonal, and honestly just unpleasant to work with. If you're thinking about using Bazaarvoice, I’d seriously recommend looking at other options.

Our team is very pleased with the implementation of this app on our Shopify store. The Bazaarvoice team provided excellent support, ensuring we had everything needed for a smooth transition. The design and presentation of the reviews on our site are fantastic, and we especially love the functionality of filtering reviews provided by their team.

Would not recommend. Review emails are poor. Cannot move Q&A function up on the page to a place that is reasonable. Reviews/stars do not show up in all places. Overall a very poor review tool for Shopify. The only reason we use it is for the syndication on other e-comm channels. If it were not for that, we would not use it.

The sales team will promise you lots of benefits over Yotpo, but when you try to reach out to customer support after signing a contract, you cannot reach anyone. The number of reviews have gone down by 94% since switching. I cannot wait to go back to my previous review app.

Implementation went well and there is an experienced team to help with Shopify installation. App works well with Shopify integration. Team can help with some customizations if certain options are not available.
However, it is super expensive so I would expect white glove treatment if we are paying that amount. If you have the budget, this is a great option.
