Don't bother with this app if your store is in a country not eligible to use Shopify Payments. Talked with the team since I thought it was a bug on my site, but rather turned out that the information listed here is misleading.
Our app description clearly states that it converts currency based on your market and store settings. Shopify strongly discourages converting to currencies your store cannot accept. We also did our best to assist you for free and even recommended another free app to meet your needs.
Found this on reddit, and it works great! It's very lightweight. I haven't had any issues with it. 100 character limit.
This app is a fantastic addition to my website, and I am grateful for it. I especially appreciate that it is free, unlike other apps that require monthly payments. Thank you very much, and may you be blessed.
It does not work for countries not allowed to use Shopify Payments and therefore it has a misleading value proposition. Do not bother with this app if your Shopify store is not listed in a country eligible for Shopify Payment as you will have to change the currency in the market settings. The app won't do it.
