Our business sells high quality all-natural beef direct to consumer, with each shipments worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. For many years, we have offered a shipping calendar feature to our customers, to allow them the flexibility and comfort of selecting the exact delivery date they would like to choose.

Traditionally, we had built our own shipping calendar and it worked okay. It wasn't a perfect system but it got the job done. As lead of fulfillment, I memorized what states were in our ground zone and figured out manually whether we needed to use FedEx Ground or Express shipping to achieve a target date.

You can imagine my joy when we discovered Flare, they were willing to white glove install the app on our store, manually input my complex shipping rules by zip code directly into the app and they are more than willing to step in with technical support at a moment's notice.

Now that I have established Flare on my store, I am able to show a shipping delivery date calendar directly in the checkout window based on the customer's zip code. I can even tell the customer whether or not Saturday delivery is an option based on their zip code.

If the customer wants a faster shipping date, we show them a calendar with available overnight delivery service for a $30 upcharge. We are able to offer this flexibility without accidentally lowering conversions by making it confusing or hard to find the free shipping available dates.

All in all, I highly recommend Flare, the team is great and the price is reasonable. Amazon has changed the game with delivery dates, you can remain competitive by offering better service to your customers and it isn't hard to setup at all.
