This App does a good job of allowing customers to leave a deposit on pre-orders for stuff that may need some time be manufactured. Just keep a close eye on edited orders. Customer service has been great though. I never leave reviews but their support has been able to get me online within 24 hrs for whatever issues i have.
This app is a lifesaver for COD orders. Our major challenge in the Indian market has been returns on COD orders. By using Depo, we started charging a small upfront amount on COD orders. Considering the high order value for AOV above 15,000, charging 1,000 INR per COD order has increased our revenue and reduced our COD returns to zero.
We have been using the app for more than five months, and the support team is very helpful. They are available on chat within minutes, and if we face any queries or issues, they help us resolve them efficiently.
It is a must have app for all platforms looking to minimize COD returns.
The app is great and takes deposits for new orders. However be warned that the app also takes a fee from any manual orders taken through the website. For example if you use the website to track orders and someone pays you via bank transfer they'll also take a fee from this as well. I don't believe this to be fair. Just a word of warning to anyone looking into using this app. If you setup a manual order for 10,000 for example and accidently clicked "Payment Made" you'll be charged their fee
I was looking for this exact solution and I am very happy with Depo as an app. Also, I love the customer service, personalized and easy to access.

We sell products online in Shopify while also having a robust custom and whole sale business.
We have been managing billing and payments for these different revenue streams in 3 different systems with no team cross-training. This of course has been rife with redundancy, miscommunication and misbilling.
We needed a solution to make all of the ways we bill possible through a single system (Shopify).
Once found, Depo implementation literally took minutes. I am a cave person so I ran into a very dumb user error but Depo's chat team coached me easily, quickly and patiently.
If Depo works as simply and effectively as it seems to so far it will be the most effective streamline in our workflow to date.
The app has improved significantly and has been providing more help. It still has a few tweaks, but the staff has been present throughout the entire process.
I've been using the Depo app for our website, and even though we've had a few bumps in the road, I've got to give a big shoutout to their support team (Karan in particular). He has been super helpful and quick with responses. Support definitely gets a 5-star rating
Great product, allows for customers to place a deposit on a product to reserve it. Customer support is very fast when needed.
