If I could leave zero stars, I would. The app used to be subscription only. Now their billing is $15 / month PLUS 1.5% of the revenue of the sale. Why?? What additional value are they bringing to their service? The app has already been built and nothing has changed in the app. What entitles this company to 1.5% of all revenue ran through the app? They are a parasitic company that hopes you do not see that you can just upgrade to Shopify Plus. Shopify Plus offers the same features without ahving to upgrade to Depo's "Enterprise" version to eliminate the 1.5% (B.S.) Revenue Share.

Again, what value does this company bring that entitles them to 1.5% of orders? This company hopes you have a "Set it and forget it" mentality and don't come back to check.

The best way to effect change is to uninstall the app until they correct their pricing to be FAIR.

I didn’t give this a 1-star review because I did successfully use this plugin to process hundreds of pre-order payments. However, the plugin has a lot of serious bugs.

First, the loading speed is extremely slow. If users quickly click “Buy” or “Add to cart” before the pre-order script fully loads, they may end up being charged the full price instead of the pre-order price.

Second, even after I disabled the plugin, as long as it wasn’t fully uninstalled, it still randomly created pre-order orders using Depo.

Third, all pre-orders created through Depo could not properly trigger confirmation emails when users paid the remaining balance. This may be due to a logic conflict where a confirmation email was already sent after the initial deposit payment. As a result, none of my customers received a final confirmation email after completing the full payment.

I contacted support about all of these issues, but none of them were resolved. Because of that, I’m giving this a 2-star review. Honestly, I wanted to give it 1 star, but I’m being generous here.

This App is brilliant; I can now offer payment plans and have increased sales since implementing them. Also, their support is amazing if you need it. I would definitely recommend using Depo.

This was the only Shopify app that would work with my clients business model. This is a simple, straightforward plugin for anyone that needs a deposit system. The team greatly helped me to fix any errors that came up when developing my site.

This app is a lifesaver for COD orders. Our major challenge in the Indian market has been returns on COD orders. By using Depo, we started charging a small upfront amount on COD orders. Considering the high order value for AOV above 15,000, charging 1,000 INR per COD order has increased our revenue and reduced our COD returns to zero.

We have been using the app for more than five months, and the support team is very helpful. They are available on chat within minutes, and if we face any queries or issues, they help us resolve them efficiently.

It is a must have app for all platforms looking to minimize COD returns.

The app is great and takes deposits for new orders. However be warned that the app also takes a fee from any manual orders taken through the website. For example if you use the website to track orders and someone pays you via bank transfer they'll also take a fee from this as well. I don't believe this to be fair. Just a word of warning to anyone looking into using this app. If you setup a manual order for 10,000 for example and accidently clicked "Payment Made" you'll be charged their fee

This app is very easy to set up. The team was very helpful when I had a few questions on my initial set up call. I would highly recommend this app for taking deposits for new product launches or any else you would need to have a deposit made to start and complete any work or service you provide.

Received great support within minutes of requesting assistance with setting up Depo. I found out there is alot more to Depo than what we set it up to do which was to take a deposit and now following on to include weekly instalments.

This App does a good job of allowing customers to leave a deposit on pre-orders for stuff that may need some time be manufactured. Just keep a close eye on edited orders. Customer service has been great though. I never leave reviews but their support has been able to get me online within 24 hrs for whatever issues i have.
