Account showed Current plan: Free and no active subscription.
Shopify still generated a paid invoice.
Developer refuses to void the invoice and wants the charge to go through for a refund. Shopify confirmed developers can reverse pending charges.
Multiple reviews report the same issue.
This is not a glitch. It’s abusive billing behavior.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m truly sorry for the confusion here. I understand how upsetting it is to see an invoice after you believed everything was canceled.
To clarify, all Atlas billing is handled through Shopify’s app billing system, which means invoices and charge timing are controlled by Shopify’s billing cycle. As a third-party developer, we are not able to void or remove Shopify charges directly on our end.
That said, there are a couple ways we can take care of this for you, and I will personally make sure it’s handled properly from start to finish. My goal is simple, that you feel fully taken care of and that you do not end up paying out of pocket for something you did not expect.
I’ve emailed you so I can confirm the invoice details and get this fully resolved for you.

I had an issue with Atlas (listed below) but I must say the team has been great about trying to make things right. Both the owner of the business and the head of customer support reached out to figure out how to make things better. At the end of the day, the issue I had was frustrating but when working, Atlas creates a ton of leverage to move faster in testing store builds.
I have a lot of respect for the team reaching out to make things better. I will come back with a new update in the next month to let you know how things go from here.

Stay away! Will crash when you need it most and Atlas will not respond.
Store being down = Lost Revenue! And Atlas had the nerve to continue charging.
Atlas creates great looking pages. Unfortunately, the thing we need most from Atlas is to have a working store that doesn't randomly crash, and fast support when something goes wrong. Randomly, my site has been down, I couldnt make fixes to my store because I was getting a "we are having trouble verifying your license" message from Atlas theme.
I emailed Atlas support. No answer.
I sent two messages through the support app. No response.
But they kept right on charging me.
Avoid at all costs - think of how much missed revenue and wasted Ad spend you could run into while Atlas doesnt think its worth getting back to its customer.
I'm a new Shopify store owner and this app made things much easier. The AI builder helped me write product descriptions, organize my store, and understand the next steps. it's beginning-friendly and works well with my dropshopping products. Helping support and simple interface.

Be careful how you use the theme and AI Store builder.
Just lost over $1000 of edits and 3 weeks of work due to false 'expert' advice. The Live theme and Store builder theme are not always the same... if one is linked and you delete it, you LOSE everything and have start from scratch again.

Wish i could give less than 1 star i cancelled free trial and uninstalled cause i didnt need it and they have been still charging me. They also lie and false advertise about how they set up and build the store.
Great app, very helpful and fast AI assistant and if you can't sort you problem out with AI, then a real human starts helping instantly.
Also a great store builder itself, a lot of features for fair price.
