When a customer misspells their email, most of the time they aren't aware of it. The end result is they do not receive their order confirmation or subsequent emails relating to their order (shipping notifications etc) This results in reaching out to your support team frustrated, and your team having to take the time to explain and correct.
Upon order submission, Typoly checks the email address that was used while ordering for errors in the domain and extension in milliseconds. When an email typo is suspected - your customer is prompted and given the opportunity to enter their correct email address.

How does it work? Suspected email typos are rectified with:
