Faire: Buy Wholesale

It makes my life so much easier! I wish I had this when I first opened my shop!

I enjoy the plethora of options and variety from which to shop for store merchadise. It is very easy to shop for more than what you need therefore, be careful because you can spend thousands and if you miss one day of payment for whatever reason, Faire reduces your spending limit and it takes awhile to increase limit again.

Love Faire its easy to shop and when i find products and checkout they are downloaded to my shopify.

Faire is an amazing platform! My first supplier directed me to it and I found many more vendors and products that align with my business values.

Faire has made shopping for our toy store so easy and seamless. It's a great system with even better filtering features. Perfect for our small business in Northern California where our customers are interested in where the product comes from and the story behind the maker. great integration and makes being a small shop owner a lot easier!

I love how it automatically puts the pictures and information in Shopify.

I really do like the faire integration with shopify, however I don't like necessarily how the product details come through, wish they would retain the bullet points and styling things like that. It does makes adding new products to my website fast and easy. Also would like the inventory to automatically be added, it's not doing that for me, I have to update the inventory in shopify once the product is added.

The app is user friendly, pertinent info and features (tracking #, minimum order spend, and messaging with shop owners) is displayed intuitively and works wonderfully Shopify integration. Shopify integration is a fantastic new edition that makes shopping through Faire an easy and worthwhile experience.

My only critique would be to remove sellers that are not true wholesalers. For example, many sellers are buying wholesale items from wholesalers like (Kheops International, New Age Imports, etc) and marking up the price. They are still posing as wholesalers but they do make or have first hand access the items they are selling. This decreases the number of original and affordable products that small shop owners like myself have access to through Faire. This also decreases the quality of the pool of sellers that Faire is hosting. I avoid these sellers as they are a waste of money … and yes, it is extremely easy for someone with experience in my retail niche to spot these types of fraudulent wholesalers.

As a small business owner, I can't recommend Faire enough! This platform has been a true game-changer for discovering unique, high-quality products from independent brands that fit my shop’s aesthetic perfectly.

Pros:

Easy Ordering Process: The website is very user-friendly. Browsing products, placing orders, and reordering is a breeze. They even provide tools for managing orders, which helps keep everything organized.
Flexible Payment Terms: One of the standout features is their flexible payment terms. Net 60 terms allow me to stock up on inventory without the pressure of immediate payment, which has been a lifesaver, especially during slower sales periods.
Great Customer Support: Whenever I’ve had questions or issues, Faire’s customer support has been prompt and helpful. It feels like they genuinely care about the success of their retailers.
Returns & Free Shipping: Faire’s return policy and the occasional free shipping offers make it easy to try new brands without the fear of being stuck with inventory that doesn’t sell.
Cons:

Minimum Order Requirements: While most brands have reasonable minimum orders, occasionally I’ve encountered some that are a bit high, which can be tricky for small shops with limited budgets.
Shipping Times: Depending on the vendor's location, shipping times can vary, so it’s something to consider if you need stock quickly.
Overall, Faire has simplified my buying process, connected me with fantastic brands, and made it possible to offer my customers unique products they won’t find elsewhere. I highly recommend it to any small retailer looking to expand their offerings!

Its pretty good so far. But, I do wish there was a way to combine sizes and/or colors. Right now you have to do everything manually and then delete the other variants. etc. But, other than that its a great tool!
