love this app, it does everything perfectly. So much control over different situations and lastly, customer service is A++++++++++ super fast replies and extremely helpful, thank you!!!

Great app, does what we need and does it good. The service is very fast. Got reply to my email within 1 hour. Very happy with it.
App works well and is intuitive. We had a specific use case that was a bit more complicated & the support team (& Nathan) spent a lot of time making sure that it worked the way we needed it to. Excellent! We really appreciate the help.
This app has made it extremely simple and safe for us to run fine tuned and complex promotions such as "spend x on x collection to receive a free y," "purchase x and x together to receive free y," "option to add premium item x with purchase of y" and others.
The app developers have also added several new handy features since we began using the app (including a product tag based rule, which is supremely helpful when you have a large catalog), and customer support is very fast, which means I can confidently say this is an active app with ongoing development and support.
Two caveats:
- We have a very large catalog and run around 200 active offers at a time. We have not yet completely pivoted management of all 200 offers to this app yet, as currently it is time consuming to set up offers one by one in the admin. If you also have a large catalog and wish to run a large number of rules, please keep this in mind. My hope is that the app gives us the ability to bulk upload rules via csv someday.
- This app works by reading cart content and adding the gift to the current cart. It cannot retroactively add gifts to existing eligible orders, and it cannot read a customer order history to add a gift to a current cart. This means it cannot handle promotions where you "add gift to orders based on fulfillment date" or "if a customer purchases a series of items, add gift to final order that completes the series."
Even so, I still give this app five stars!
This app is very helpful to run GWP mechanism online. Also the support is super reactive. I recommend.

This is simple to set up and the support is quick and efficient.
The 'add to cart free' works seamlessly in both automated and selection.
I have rated 4 rather than 5 star as the upsell benefit of the app only has a pop up option. I'd like to see an option of a pop up, or an embed on product pages or at the checkout to avoid having multiple popups throughout a customers journey. For this reason I will still need to be using an alternative upsell app, I'd hoped to, and would combine both tasks within EG Auto if that had been feasible.
However I thoroughly recommend this for it's title, it certainly 'does what it says on the tin' and does it very very well.
Seems like they are not supporting different languages in one store. Unfortunately.

Nathan here, the product manager of EG. I'm sorry to hear that you're disappointed with our app's current lack of support for translated product handles. I understand how this limitation can be frustrating for stores with multilingual needs.
Support for translations is on our roadmap, but at the moment, we are focused on other key developments in preparation for Black Friday. Implementing translation support requires thorough planning, design, development, and testing to get it done right, unfortunately, we are currently unable to allocate the necessary resources for such a large task.
While I understand your disappointment, I want to clarify that we do not advertise nor claim that EG offers support for translations anywhere on our app listing or elsewhere. As a small team, we must prioritize features that will benefit the majority of our users. It is unfortunate that this led to a 2-star review, especially after our discussion where I thought I had reached an understanding.
Please consider how you would feel if your store received a negative review for not offering a product you have never stocked. We value all feedback and are committed to improving our app, but we also need to manage our resources effectively.

Have been using this app for several years- it allows gifting and activations that are unique and useful. People love the magic link. Just submitted a ticket regarding our theme upgrade and got a response in just a few hours- problem sorted. Thanks Stephanie!
