Kedra Fraud Filter, IP Blocker

Great app. I was having issues with bots, and Kendra Shield helped me minimise the number of bots on my site.

App was disfunction on one day: blocked countries users were able to visit several times, from several blocked countries. Blocked copy/image protection functions wasn’t working anymore.
This app failed to protect, and I have received no reply to any of my approaches, twice via the messenger button within the app, and another one to support on this page. No reply for almost 3 weeks. No functionality for about the same time or maybe more. I have to remove this app and get a different one, this one just doesn’t work. Not anymore anyway.

Misleading and Non-Functional: No Blocking, No Support

This application is completely non-functional and misleading regarding its core security features. Despite being installed to block unwanted traffic, it does not block anything. We confirmed that neither bots nor traffic from specified countries were successfully blocked.

The app essentially operates as an analytics tool: it only informs us of attacks and traffic after the fact, without providing any preventive measures. The primary function of blocking traffic is completely absent.

Furthermore, customer support is nonexistent. We sent four detailed messages to the support team across several days and have received zero responses. If you require an application that delivers on its security promises or provides any level of customer service, look elsewhere.

So far it seems to be helping the major issue I've been having of scammers mass creating fake accounts and abandoned checkouts to test stolen credit cards.

Bots - the bane of my existence. Kedra Shield has been a lifesaver! I can block actual users, ip addresses and countries that the activity is coming from. I let my subscription run out and immediately I had abandoned carts created by bots. If you have your email marketing platform syncing to your Shopify, an abandoned cart will create a profile - which for Klaviyo, is how your billing rate is determined. So it’s important for me to keep these things in check.

Says it blocked bots from China but I am still getting a ton everyday. Will be deleting the app.

Excellent App – Simple, Reliable, and Does Exactly What It Promises

I've been using Kedra Shield across my stores and it works flawlessly.
The setup is super easy, the features are clear, and the protection is real no more image saving, right-click, or copy-paste issues.

What I liked most is that it integrates smoothly with Shopify without slowing down the site.
If you want quick, effective website security without overcomplicating things, this app is perfect.

Highly recommended.

*** Update 11/26/2025 I have changed to 3 stars because the developer responded stating "Selecting the free plan only requires clicking “Next” during the setup wizard. No charges are applied unless a paid plan is explicitly selected." .

I reinstalled the app and found the instructions are correct. However before they responded I already found and starting using another app. ***

Misleading pricing options. There is no way to select the free plan after installing the app and going through their setup wizard. I don't mind paying but will use another app that doesn't have a bogus free option.
