We have been using Kount for a few years now, and we couldn't be more pleased with their product and their support team. We have been working with Olaia, and she's one of the best account managers we've ever had the pleasure of working with. We've tried a few different preventative fraud platforms in the past, and nothing compares to the capabilities that Kount provides. Our fraud has been significantly mitigated since signing up with Kount, and we plan on partnering with Kount for years to come.
I have been using Kount for several years. Love all the information you get from a single transaction! It really helps making a decisions on new customers. Our fraud has gone down since we started using Kount.
We have been using Kount now for a couple of years. Has been a solid review tool to catch fraud patterns and overview form of our in-house order screening. It has some pretty sneaky behind-the-scenes looks and ways of tracing orders that Shopify fraud analytics may have overlooked. Takes a bit of getting used to as it feels like a lot of data all at once, but after which, you can pretty much sort based on any needs. The support managers provide whatever level your team needs and were a huge part of the success of our implementation.
Our company has been using Kount for a year and overall we are satisfied with the service. Number of fraud order that we have to manually check is significantly down and the ability to modify the rule set is amazing.
So far I haven't even been to install the Kount Essentials app, and have had no luck with their Support.
The app here on the Shopify app store seems to install Advanced, not Essentials, which can't be activated without an API.
When I reach out to Support - either through the Support link to the left here, or via the Support link in the app, the agent seems to know nothing about the Essentials app and bounces me off to someone else who equally isn't aware of the app.
The latest is I got told I need a contract and someone would contact me shortly. That was a week ago. And Essentials is not meant to require a contract anyway.
