1) It's so misleading that is says "free" when it obviously isn't if you have more than 2500 subscribers. 2) They have to "review" your account before sending your campaigns, and of course they charge you before hand so even if they decline your account they still get the money and you paid for a service that was of no use.

MailerLite deserves some serious love! Mailchimp makes you pay for any automation--this app gives you powerful tools for FREE up to 1000 subs (and the rates aren't bad after that). Amazingly simple interface for how powerful it is. I only regret that I spent a whole day trying to get Mailchimp to do what I did with this app in an hour.

super app. easy to use. good support. intuitive interface. the newsletter banner can be easily integrated into the homepage via HTML. the workflows are easy to create. many explanation videos are available.
I had seen very low ratings for the mailerlite app on shopify but thought how bad could it be and still went ahead with it. 09 days later, I realized that I just lost money and time on this app and nothing else. I paid for a list of 13,000 suscribers and then was told need to verfy the list. In batches first had to verify 2500 contacts and upon an open click of above 5% I could get to test another 2500 contacts. Once test resulted in a high bounce rate, which then according mailer lite meant I had to get my list verified. Their system showed me a value of 81$ to get my list verified and I was told by them not to use a free option. Obviously after wasting so much time and effort I said I want to shut my account as this is is agonizing, upon which I was told it is not in their policy to offer a refund. That is $75 down the drain and my first 1 star review in my life.

We shifted from Mailerlite once the Shopify integration stopped working for Mailchimp to varying degrees of success. Whilst Mailerlite is a cheaper price point it still (in theory) has all the features that you can run reasonably in depth email campaigns, much like MailChimp. The problem is there are TONS of glitches. We went through a painstaking process to setup our welcome flows, automations, customer segments, and once done we’ve experienced constant problems. The main problems have been automations not firing properly, and attribution errors (quite big ones). Both problems have many sub-problems embedded within them. The support team are very strange. Sometimes they respond very quickly with great details, other times they take days (or weeks) between responses and it’s clear they haven’t taken the time to understand the problem. The unfortunate thing is our problems have dragged on now for almost 2 months and we are no closer to a solution. I hate to say this but Andrej from the support team is absolutely terrible. He’s almost singlehandedly destroyed my will to live. Anyway beware before you switch, the cost is good but it might end up causing you way more problems in the long run

Every shop has its own specifics that may influence how the integration is working. Some of the cases are unique and takes some time to test and find the solution to fix. We are looking into this to solve it as soon as possible.

DOES NOT WORK - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I've lost count of the amount of times I have been on live chat with 'experts' to resolve what are simple automated campaigns that just do not work, each time they tell me the same procedure and when it doesn't work they 'escalate' it and cannot find a solution. It's a shame because the interface is easy to use.

As email marketing software, it is not acceptable that you offer the Abandoned Cart feature, but this feature does not work. According to support, nobody knows what it is, and when it works. I find the software otherwise quite good but important functions just don't always work or not at all.
