Merges ‑ Merge Products

This did what I needed without breaking the links back to 3rd party fulfillment apps! Perfect!

Once you figure it out, this app is pretty amazing! Support is incredible. Highly recommend!

This app saved me a ton of time and was easy to use. When we integrated our old POS to Shopify, every product was set as an individual page, which would have been fine if we were only doing in store sales. Now that we've branched out online, we had to merge all of the products into collections to make the webpage cleaner and user friendly. Merges saved me days of having to go back and compile all the info myself. All you have to do is select your products you want to merge and the app does all the hard work of carrying over variants, barcodes, pricing, categories, photos, creating a description of the product and more... I highly recommend if you want to compress a bunch of products and save days in time.

Merges is a great utility recommended to me by a SaaS I work with. A couple of things knocked it down a 1/2 star for me.

AI
For me, the AI-generated titles have included variant details that needed to be cleaned up, and the automatic description wasn't super useful. It may be of some value to many people, but it probably won't be totally hands-off if you need high fidelity to specifications, for instance.

SUBSCRIPTION MODEL
I have limited time to use it right now, so I have a bunch of credits. Unfortunately, the only way to unsubscribe is uninstalling the app, which wipes out your credit balance (if I'm not mistaken). A free plan would be nice (so that credits could just go on pause), or else a pay-per-use model more suited to the "project-based" nature of merging (for me, at least).

WISH LIST
The ability to merge other things like collections and inventory locations would be a great addition. If the AI could suggest things to merge that'd be amazing since I have a large catalog.

OVERALL
Other than that it works great and the developer is very responsive and helpful. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would but I think for most users it'll be at least that.

The Merges App provides me with the assistance I need to organize my Product Catalog. This in turn makes my store more appealing to visitors, for which I am extremely grateful. I am very pleased with this wonderful App, and I truly appreciate the support I receive from The Merges Team. You guys are awesome. Thank You.

It merges your products seamlessly, re-directs URLS and offers AI descriptions for products. I am thoroughly impressed with the Merge app. I got the $35 version and can say that it immediately paid for itself in time saved and headache avoided. I expected to experience at least a glitch or two but to the contrary, the Merge app merged dozens of products for me seamlessly and with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is managing a busy storefront!

Absolutely a MUST-HAVE app for organizing products with their options/variants! Easy to use, fast, and no errors or support needed - it just works. We find that most apps usually have "something" not right--but not this one. It is truly one of the few QUALITY and well-made apps we have ever used.

Also, we didn't have any issues or need for support, but we messaged the developer for advice on handling a certain situation. He responded immediately with a easy solution and eagerness to keep helping if we needed. Bravo to this developer. A+++++
