Merges AI ‑ Merge Products

This app is super helpful! Saved a ton of time combining literally 100+ products to create 1 product with 100 variants!

Merges is honestly a great utility app, but I can't give it 5 stars until the AI content is improved. The AI-generated title and description are just too useless on my products, most of which is safety gear with important specifications. It completely rewrites my titles instead of just removing color or other variant-specific info from the title. The automatic description was also not useful for me. Personally I'd design the AI interface similar to Shopify's to give a suggestion with a before/after, accept/decline preview, instead of just an on/off setting.

The product merging function is great otherwise. The ability to merge collections would be a very nice addition.

This app saved me a ton of time and was easy to use. When we integrated our old POS to Shopify, every product was set as an individual page, which would have been fine if we were only doing in store sales. Now that we've branched out online, we had to merge all of the products into collections to make the webpage cleaner and user friendly. Merges saved me days of having to go back and compile all the info myself. All you have to do is select your products you want to merge and the app does all the hard work of carrying over variants, barcodes, pricing, categories, photos, creating a description of the product and more... I highly recommend if you want to compress a bunch of products and save days in time.

I would say that merges is a very great app to use and I truly appreciate how easy it is to merge my products. My improvements would be, getting all of the images to show up on my website once the products merge and fixing the quantity available issue once products merge. Also, the amount of merges available, if there is an issue, should be given back us so that we can try to remerge the product if there was an issue.

When we initially decided to merge our products it was taking us hours! Luckily we found Merges and it has honestly saved us hours and hours of time! It merges your products seamlessly, re-directs URLS and offers AI descriptions for products. On top of all of that the customer service we received when we encountered an issue was brilliant, they responded quickly and efficiently to solve our issue. Thanks again!
