How does it work?
The NZ Post Address Search is available free to all NZ Post account holders only. Once downloaded, configure the plugin to show addresses from countries you ship to. The widget displays on your cart page providing intuitive auto-complete of addresses. The selected address is then pre-populated at the checkout for a faster purchase process.
Will NZ Post Address Search work with my Shopify theme?
Shopify Basic, Shopify & Advanced Plans:
The NZ Post Address Search has been designed for Shopify's most popular themes using the standard checkout flow. If you have customised themes and or vertically sliding carts please get in touch with our Customer Technology team and they can install this for you. Once installed, the plugin will display in your store’s cart.
Shopify Plus Plan:
If you are on the Shopify Plus plan reach out to us to talk about using our Parcel Address API directly in your checkout. This is the only plan that allows our technology to be used at the checkout instead of your cart.
Does it work for all addresses?
NZ Post Address Search uses the NZ Post ParcelAddress API to retrieve addresses from New Zealand, Australia & International. International addresses are powered by Google Places.
What happens if a customer can’t find their address?
If an address isn’t displaying, simply click on the link that says “Can’t find your address? You can enter it manually” and you’ll be taken to the checkout to fill in your address.
