I have a jewelry store, and the ai is not the best for jewelry. It can't remove backgrounds from chains, and it's confused about rings and how to shade the generated background with rings for it to look realistic. I tried different products, and the success rate is about 1 okay-ish image out of 20 free credits (5%). It only works with very specific products that are in very specific positions. If the original background is colored, the color remains on the product even if the background is removed, so it doesn't look good on generated backgrounds of other colors. If your original product photos aren't of high rez, the generated images are in mismatch.

Getting the hang of it takes time, but once you do, the success rate goes up. But 20 free credits is not enough for that. I would need at least 100 to get a few good pics.

Hi there, thank you for the review and honest feedback!

Jewelry is a more challenging product than most products but we do have a new upgraded AI that can generate better images and even human models. You can see some examples here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cy3J7v6xxxi/

This is already available in our web app and will be added to our Shopify app soon.

This app works beautifully when it works...we've experienced a couple of outages when we really needed to create images. Customer service was responsive, but simply referred us to the online version of the app while it was down. Overall, it has been a game-changer for us by allowing us to showcase our static beverage products in vibrant and interesting ways. Once the occasional app outages are worked out, it will definitely be worth upgrading to a higher plan.

Hi there! Thank you for the honest feedback!

We did have a few outages previously and fixed them asap. If you are still experiencing issues, please feel free to email me at alfred@pebblely.com so that we can look into it.

I've started to play with it a few days ago to get additional assets for different platforms. It requires you to spend time on it, and think outside the box. It takes a bit of time to think of commands in an abstract way, but it is rewarding to learn a new skill. Not all generated images can be used, but overall and with the help of customer service, about half of the images I played with are usable and I have already published them.
I would definitely recommend it if you are new to ai, if you are short in budget, and if you want to assort a few ai generated images in your assets. I think the technology will only improve and it could be quite complex to start learning this at a later time, better to jump on the wagon now and grow alongside it.
I'm giving it 5 stars for the effort in launching this on the market and the customer service I received. In terms of generated images, Not all your results may be 5 stars, that's why you are given plenty of photos to practice with.

Thank you so much for the honest and objective review!

Yes, we know not all ai-generated images are usable. So (1) we are improving our AI to generate better images and (2) we just added an editing feature where you can erase and re-generate parts of an image.

Thanks again!
