Disappointing Experience with Lack of Support from Image Optimizer

I feel compelled to share my experience with the Image Optimizer app and its customer support team.

Functionality:
The premise of Image Optimizer is promising, offering image compression capabilities to enhance website speed and performance. Initially, the app seemed like a perfect fit for my needs, targeting to optimize around 600 images on my Shopify store. However, the app reported compressing over 2,000 images, a number far exceeding my actual inventory, leading to confusion and concern over the accuracy of its operations.

Customer Support:
The most disheartening aspect of my experience was the complete lack of response from the customer support team. Despite reaching out multiple times with detailed explanations of my issues and a plea for assistance, my requests went unanswered. The absence of support not only exacerbated the problem but also left me feeling disregarded as a customer.

Overall Experience:
Unfortunately, due to the technical issues and, more significantly, the lack of customer service, my experience with Image Optimizer has been far from satisfactory. The inability to resolve a critical issue that impacts my Shopify store's performance significantly undermines the value of the app.

While I understand that technical glitches can occur, the measure of a company lies in its response to customer issues. A more proactive and responsive customer service approach could have mitigated the situation and potentially retained me as a satisfied user.

Scammy as Hell, saying 1.99$ per month unlimited images, then only Shopify inform you by email it's 1 cent per image. Run away fast.

This app is amazing as it saved me so much space by compressing my images. I couldn't tell the difference on the before and after pictures. Outstanding!

The app has crunched my images, they seem to load nice and fast now, without any noticeable loss in quality. I had a question for support and they helped me out right away.

Today must have been my lucky day to find this app. It's very easy to use. Customer service was going to compress all my images etc but I had already finished. To know that the customer support was willing to help is amazing. Thank you for allowing this app to currently offer free services. It's not always easy starting a business when you're coming from the bottom. A relief of fresh air. Thanks again!!

6 hours after I press optimize button nothing happened. The app seems blocked. Still processing just 30 images.

wanted to give this app 5 stars but the customer service does not exist. I wrote to them 4 times on separate days and never got a reply to address the issues I was having even though they clam to be online all day.

Awesome experience with this app. It quickly and easily resizes images without noticeably losing any quality. Real life saver.

i will and i would u love this app because it is amazing and helped alot to speed up my shopify onlinw store

1. you say its 9.99 then straight away bills 19.99 in shopify
2. you have plans in settings with NO option to select one
3 you say its a 30 day trial then there no mention or option to cancel on your app'
4. you say there is someone online to chat no one responds.
5. no ability to stop the action.. its just scanning no stop with hardly and settings

Einfache Bedienung und schnell. Ich merke nur noch nicht das sich was geändert hat bezüglich das Laden meiner Webseite.

I was charged by this terrible app without any notification. Do not download it! It doesn't do anything with the pictures and it's not even free! The only notification that you have to pay after 150 images appears after you've already been charged. This is very dishonest. I've now deleted the app and I'm out $10, but at least I haven't had any more pictures optimized. Stay away from this app!

Muito simples de utilizar. O menu é bem direto e fácil compreensão. A compactação das imagens são feitas de modo bem rápido. Vale a pena usar.
