The absence of a native desktop version is a huge limitation. Forcing retailers to use tablets or mobile phones is a major bottleneck for permanent stores. Without a Windows or Mac app, Shopify POS feels like a "mobile-first" tool that isn't fully ready for heavy-duty, professional desktop environments.

The cash tracking options were recently updated and they are ABYSMAL. I can no longer track cash transactions from the past line by line. I can no longer see the adjustments the employees are making for drops, or cash added into the register. I can't even get a total of the cash transactions for a period of time. Terrible, useless app.

Edit: It doesn't work with a laptop for some mysterious reason. Had to wipe my cellphone to leave it in my booth with my helpers for the entire fair. SUPER annoying.

Original: Can't use it, literally no way to see how to charge a customer let alone set up my device.
