Once you get the hang of it, you realize this is an essential app for any store that wants to have professional filtering. You can easily do some aesthetic tweaks (for a small price) to make it look better on your site. The app's team is quick and helpful.

I need to say that this is the best App-support experience I had so far!
Very helpful! Just 3 days after installing the app, it is EXACTLY how I wanted it, with all the code changes that the support was necessary for.
I use the color filter, and love the way it looks and works.
I would give 6 stars if this would be possible :)

I saw this app and it looked just what I required. Emailed and Brad responded within a few hours. I paid to have it installed (at a very fair and low price indeed). Brad had me up and running the very next day. I had an employee add tags to our products (VERY simple with the BULK edit tags in the app). A couple of days later and it was all up and running. Super easy. Thanks! HIGHLY recommended.

Really easy way to get a drop down filter on your site and for free!

We needed to feature a search by size function for our website and Filter Menu does the job. The installation and customization process isn't instantaneous depending on the shop's theme, but Chris and his team is more than ready to help to get the job done.

Great App for the Price, My only Gripe is that I wish there was some more informational material or video examples of what everything does. I'm sure if I would have asked the Dev team would have helped. Other than that it has been relatively easy to use .

What an app, what a team behind it! I can't sing the praises loud enough of the Power Tools team and of course Filter Menu.

It's two key things:

1. Great value.
2. Really powerful and flexible bringing a new dimension to your Shopify site and more importantly the experience of your customers.

Now, for a few footnotes...

It isn't that easy to use but this is mainly to do with the sheer power of the app. It will take you some time to acclimatise to the mechanics of the app and its eccentricities (there are many). That said, the Power Tools team are on hand to help and they really do. Keep in mind that they are in different time zones - one support team in Europe and another in Australia (which is useful). It can take a little while for difficult issues to be sorted but they do get sorted.

The aliasing feature is truly amazing and with some patience you can create elegant filters to convert browsing customers into buying customers.

I've found that I had to watch the excellent tutorial videos a few times to understand what to do and then occasionally check with support on more detailed things. They will help you. I'd add here that I've been designing, building and developing websites for 20 years and I did need to carefully understand the app before launching into config - and I made some mistakes.

Important note. If you update your theme then Filter Menu also needs to be "updated" too to ensure it works. The Power Tools team offered to do this for me and I was about 90% successful on my first attempt but one or two small issues did occur. Power Tools helped me with this. There is a need for better docs on the update process and I hope Chris and the gang are reading this and will action it. It will generate so much more confidence in the app.

So, I would thoroughly recommend that app without exception. Thanks Power Tools.

Update July 2023: We've been using the app for about 5 years and are still very happy with it. The support is spectacular and willing to help troubleshoot, offer guidance, and even some customizations. Very affordable.
Original review: Excellent app. I spent considerable time trying to set up other product filter apps and none of them did what we needed. Power tools filter is incredibly customizable and there are tons of automatic installations meaning even those with little coding experience can implement these filters on their site. There are also helpful tutorials if you get stuck and support was excellent. I was initially hesitant at the price when compared to other filter apps but of the ones I looked at in depth Power Tools has many more features and is worth it.

Hands down the absolute best app for sorting collections with lots of products and variants. Brads support went above and beyond to make sure I understood how to utilize the app properly and also made me realize some best practices to deploy in my shop for my collections. I wish they had more than 5 stars to give because Power Tools - Filter Menu deserves it !!!

**UPDATE** One year into using this app and it keeps getting better and better. Recently had a few questions regarding added functionality and Veronica and Brad were not only prompt in responding, but their support to helping me unlock additional functionality was key in taking my shop to the next level with my filters.
