PC Price Calculator by Formula

We have had problems with this app from the very beginning. The app changes product prices globally every time a customer uses the calculator, creates Shopify variants automatically, activates inventory with 1 item in stock even though we do not use stock, and permanently alters the m² price so the next customer sees an extremely high and incorrect price. This affects all customers on both desktop and mobile and makes our store look misleading and unprofessional.

The app also shows wrong prices across many products (for example 1,999 kr), fails to add products to the cart (“item is not added to cart”), keeps loading endlessly, and has caused over 60 customers to add products to the cart without a single completed order. We constantly have to manually delete variants, reset prices, and disable inventory after customers interact with the app, even if the item is removed from the cart.

Support is extremely inconsistent and unhelpful. We receive different answers every time, they contradict themselves, blame Shopify, delete earlier messages, and repeatedly say “this is how the app works” instead of fixing anything. We were even told to uninstall the app, risking months of work adding hundreds of products.

There are also serious presentation issues: Swedish characters are not supported in input fields, internal field rules are shown to customers, ALT-text values and long internal image names appear in the cart, variant titles created by the app are visible to customers, and everything looks confusing and unprofessional. The final response from support was that nothing can be fixed because the variant label is “too long” and cannot be changed, which clearly shows the limitations of this app.

We are a high-revenue store and cannot use an app that constantly breaks pricing, confuses customers, and requires daily manual fixes. This app is poorly designed, unstable, and not suitable for serious businesses. Avoid.

Just starting using App, I am not great with formula's but I know what I need the app to do. The support team sorted every thing out in a timely manner and fixed all the issue I had, I felt bad continuing to contact them but nothing was an issue, Great service which is rare on app in Shopify since we normally are out of the normally time zones.
