As we continued adding products, promotions, recipes, seasonal graphics, and marketing campaigns to our Shopify store, our media library started getting completely out of control. There were duplicate images, outdated banners, old product photos, and files we honestly didn’t even remember uploading anymore.
PicPurge helped us finally get visibility into what was actually active in the store and what was simply clutter accumulating over time. The dashboard made it incredibly easy to identify oversized files, unused assets, and missing ALT text without feeling overwhelmed.
What really stood out was the safety aspect. Knowing we had recovery windows and protection features in place gave us confidence to finally clean things up properly.
PicPurge feels less like a cleanup tool and more like a media management system for serious Shopify stores.

Scott, thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback and for trusting PicPurge with your store.
Your experience is exactly why PicPurge was created. As Shopify stores grow and AI-generated content accelerates, media libraries can quietly become difficult to manage without merchants even realizing how much clutter has accumulated behind the scenes.
I’m especially glad the recovery windows and protection features helped provide confidence during cleanup. One of the biggest goals from day one was making media governance feel safe, controlled, and operationally useful — not risky or overwhelming.
Really appreciate the support and excited to continue evolving PicPurge into an even stronger media management platform for Shopify merchants.
