We ran our production on spreadsheets for years — this replaced all of them.

We make personalized jewelry, and every order goes through multiple stations — design, engraving, assembly, dispatch — with over a dozen people on the floor. Before Route to Ship it was shared spreadsheets and shouting across the room. Now every person sees their own queue, and I can see the whole floor at a glance: what's waiting, what's stuck, and who has it.

Two things won us over. Our customers now get automatic updates when production actually starts on their order — those questions to our inbox basically stopped. And when a piece comes back wrong, flagging it for the line manager takes one tap instead of a WhatsApp thread.

It's a young app and you can tell the developer is actively building — we've asked for things and seen them appear. If your orders go through more than one pair of hands before shipping, this is made for you.

Thank you — this one means a lot. Purple Carrot was one of the first production floors Route to Ship ever ran on, and "spreadsheets and shouting across the room" is exactly the problem we built it to end. The automatic customer updates and one-tap escalations you mention exist because, over the months we've worked together, floors like yours asked for them — that's genuinely how this app gets built. Keep the requests coming. — Herman, founder
