Script Editor

The reality is that the script is a rip off for what is being paid. The cost of shopify plus is $1200 a month and the script is very limited. Someone mentioned you can run "multiple" campaigns but your character limit is 24,000. That's a little for a store with several products. This review is already 300 characters. No need to make it only for plus. Shopify should provide a script editor for every plan! - Please reconsider including it! :(

ONE script. Our Shopify Plus sales guy told me I could do tons and tons of things with Scripts, then locked us into a year-long contract, then tells us ONE script at a time. Just a terrible and deceitful practice.

Great app that allows us to have both our wholesale and retail customers on the one store front!

I am a shopify plus member and you can only run 1 script at a time. You also are not allowed to use time or date functions in ruby. This is good for Small stores, but not available to them. very sad.

We love the Scripts Editor and use it all the time to give us the edge on advanced Discounting and Shipping Hacks.

Only problem is sometimes, randomly, it doesn't work and breaks our orders.

Once we can address that - 5 stars.

It has potential. But, this should come out of the box for shopify plus users.
You have to hire a developer to create something for you.
Also, it's limited to 1 script at the time.
Shopify should really work on the Discount Options and Shipping options on their back end so users don't have to spend more money to hire developers. Specially because their Plus plan prices are going up.

Very good App and can help a lot in your store but there is a bug: you can only run 1 script at a time and that is really really bad...

I have a lot of script running at a time because I built them...

I did a test and it worked perfect. We are trying to avoid scripts but see the value as we scale up and have more complex needs for shipping, pricing and discounts.

This is a super powerful tool! It allows you access to features otherwise inaccessible in Shopify. For those who are complaining you can only run 1 script at a time - you can create multiple "campaigns" within a script. Each campaign is basically a totally different script so you can accomplish different things at once. There is a character limiter on the script editor so you can't have a million ...
